| With the continuous and rapid development of China’s national economy, motor vehicles have quickly entered households in county towns, and there have been traffic congestion and air pollution problems there. At present,China is facing enormous pressure to reduce emissions.County towns take an important position. There are two main ways to reduce carbon emissions. One is to control or reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the development of new materials and new technologies, which is called technical emission reduction. The other is to adjust the industrial structure, urban planning layout, transportation facilities, etc. The adjustment of production and living activities to reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency is called structural emission reduction.Parking facilities are an important part of the transportation system, and their reasonable configuration can effectively promote energy conservation and emission reduction in county towns. In this paper, the characteristics of the parking process of vehicles parked in the typical on-street parking situation in county towns and the blocked characteristics of the vehicles running on the road are studied, and the direct and indirect carbon emission calculation models for on-street parking are established. The method provides a reference for whether or not on-street parking should be set,and what type of on-street parking should be set,and the goal of reducing carbon emissions can be achieved through the optimization of on-street parking configuration.Chapter 1 of this paper summarizes the main characteristics, contradictions, and planning basis of on-street parking facilities in county towns in China through field investigation and literature analysis of county towns, and clarifies the significance of on-street parking carbon emissions research. The carbon emissions from on-street parking are divided into direct carbon emissions from parked vehicles and indirect carbon emissions from vehicles operating on the road, and the research processes are separately determined.Chapter 2 analyzes the on-and-off process of on-street parking, summarizes the influencing factors of on-street parking carbon emissions, investigates the types of existing onstreet parking settings in county towns, and establishes Typical situations of on-street parking in county towns.Chapter 3 obtains the relevant data of the parking process, analyzes the parking characteristics caused by the traffic flow during the parking process, and measures the basic carbon emissions of on-street parking. And a direct carbon emission model for on-street parking was established and calibrated.Chapter 4 obtains the data related to the blockage of on-street parking on the road running vehicles, analyzes the friction and blocking effect of on-street parking on the traffic flow, and calibrates the road traffic flow model under the typical on-street parking scenario and the model of the relationship between carbon emission rate and vehicle speed. And an indirect carbon emission model for on-street parking is established.Chapter 5 gives the carbon emission accounting method and estimation method of onstreet parking in county towns in combination with direct and indirect carbon emission models. And establishes a carbon emission comparison method based on carbon emission accounting and a saturation coordinate method based on road traffic condition inspection to configure onstreet parking facilities. And the feasibility and effectiveness of the method are illustrated by examples. The research in this paper shows that carbon emissions can be used as an important constraint to guide the allocation of on-street parking facilities, and that reasonable on-street parking facility configurations can effectively promote energy conservation and emission reduction in county towns. |
