At present, the domestic social and economic aspects of sustained growth and diversified development, people’s living standards and consumption concepts gradually improve and change, promote the development of commercial building model constantly keep pace with the times, traditional commercial buildings are gradually transformed into multi-functional and large-scale commercial buildings. As a first tier city in China,Guangzhou’s commercial buildings have an important position at home and abroad. At the same time, the rapid development of the Internet has a huge impact on the traditional large-scale commercial building offline shopping retail industry, which needs to ensure that the large-scale commercial building interior space is sufficient in the Internet era.Space syntax can reasonably describe the urban and architectural space, and its research on the internal space of buildings is mostly limited to the simplified and abstract two-dimensional plane. The accuracy of space syntax on the external large-scale space of commercial blocks is far greater than that in the internal space of commercial buildings,so it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of its three-dimensional space in the internal space of buildings. This paper hopes to verify and analyze the characteristics of the internal three-dimensional space form and the distribution of people flow of large-scale commercial buildings through space syntax combined with field research, hoping to get a reference design method. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly combs the research background, related concepts and research scope, research content and purpose, research methods and framework of large-scale commercial buildings and space syntax, and summarizes the related research status at home and abroad. The second chapter mainly expounds the related theories, mainly in three aspects: space cognition,large-scale commercial building internal public space, space syntax. The third chapter is the basic analysis of the internal public space of large commercial buildings in Guangzhou.First of all,the basic situation of large-scale commercial buildings in Guangzhou is sorted out, including the development status, the distribution of business districts, and the organization form of internal public space in 12 typical cases.Secondly, this paper expounds the principles of the research object selection and the basic situation of the selected cases. Finally, the purpose and content of the selected case, research methods are described, and the research data are sorted and analyzed. The fourth chapter is an important chapter of space syntax analysis of the four cases.Firstly, the quantitative analysis of four cases is carried out, including horizon analysis, axis analysis, comprehensibility analysis, and the correlation analysis between the quantitative analysis data and the measured passenger flow. The relationship between the spatial integration degree and the distribution of passenger flow is preliminarily obtained.Secondly,it summarizes the results of spatial parsing and deduces the potential spatial variables. Finally, linear regression analysis is carried out on the potential spatial variables after assignment to verify the correlation with the distribution of people flow, and then several spatial influencing factors with greater correlation with the distribution of people flow are obtained. In the fifth chapter, based on the space influence variables obtained from the analysis of the fourth chapter, and based on creating a good consumer behavior experience, the relevant design methods of the internal space form of large-scale commercial buildings are proposed.
