In the development of modern society,the salary system,as an important part of the modern enterprise human resource management system,plays an important role in the operation and development of the enterprise.If an enterprise wants to achieve sustained and healthy development and improve its core competitiveness,it must have an efficient salary and performance management system that is compatible with the long-term development of the enterprise.Therefore,accelerating the improvement and perfection of the salary system and building a scientific,flexible and efficient salary system is an important link for companies to effectively attract,retain and motivate employees,as well as an important task for the company to achieve long-term development and continuously improve operating efficiency.This paper takes YY company as an example,uses the literature research and analysis method,consults a large number of literature related to the salary system system and performance appraisal management theory,collects,summarizes and organizes the company’s existing relevant data,and analyzes the overall status of the current salary system of YY company.The existing basic salary level and salary system structure provide support for the improvement of the salary system;at the same time,the satisfaction of employees with the existing salary system is investigated through the online questionnaire survey method and the offline interview method.After statistical analysis,it is found that the company’s existing compensation system has problems that mainly include imperfect performance appraisal content,low basic salary levels,unreasonable benefits for old employees,and weak incentive functions of rewards and penalties,which cause these problems.The main reasons are the unscientific performance appraisal system,inaccurate salary budget analysis,imperfect salary and welfare management,and opaque salary adjustment system.Therefore,based on the actual situation of YY company,we have improved the remuneration system of YY company from four aspects:improving performance appraisal management,raising salary standards,improving old employee benefits and adjusting the salary incentive system.Finally,in order to guarantee the smooth implementation of the improvement plan,this article formulates practical safeguards from four aspects:organization,rules and regulations,supervision and communication mechanism,and corporate culture.The research in this article can provide a reference for YY company to improve its salary system,as well as other peer companies in the process of constructing,optimizing or improving the salary management system.
