The development of the construction industry towards the industrialization of new buildings has prompted the construction industry to raise the requirements for the professionalism and vocational skills of its employees.The new generation of migrant workers is the main source of construction labor force,and their vocational skills are low,which cannot meet the development needs of accelerating the transformation of the construction industry."The shortage of migrant workers" is a major problem facing the construction industry,which is reflected in the lack of sufficient labor force on the one hand,and the lack of efficient and high-quality skilled workers on the other.Salary incentive is the enterprise important means which can be used to attract and retain skilled talents,and the new generation of migrant workers is a major source of labor force,the construction industry occupy the advantage of age,education level is higher,keen to capture the modern labor market demand information,have to accept the profoundness of skilled human capital investment and lack of skilled human capital can fill construction industry the gap.New generation migrant workers based on the construction industry as the research object,using comprehensive compensation elements as well as the domestic and foreign scholars about the technical staff of salary incentive factors related research results,could be divided into economic compensation incentive motivation,work motivation and achievement motivation three dimensions,which contains economic incentive wages,salary system,working conditions,benefits,work-life balance five factors;Job motivation includes five factors: job competence,job achievement,job recognition,job responsibility and ability play.Growth incentives include vocational training,teamwork,interpersonal relationships,company prospects,career planning and promotion opportunities.The World Bank divides skilled human capital into two dimensions: vocational knowledge and vocational skills.Vocational knowledge includes three dimensions: professional ethics,basic knowledge and job requirements.Vocational skills include practical ability,social communication ability,spatial judgment ability,organizational and management ability,teamwork ability,innovation ability,writing ability and speech ability.Taking self-efficacy as a mediating variable,this paper studies the influence of three dimensions of salary incentive on the two dimensions of skilful human capital of the new generation of migrant workers.It not only provides reference for the construction industry to optimize the salary incentive scheme,but also provides effective reference for the construction industry to develop the skilled human capital of migrant workers with new development.Through sorting out relevant research literature,defining the concept of variables,constructing research models,proposing research hypotheses and conducting empirical analysis,the following research conclusions are drawn:(1)The three dimensions of salary incentive,namely economic incentive,job incentive and growth incentive,all have a significant positive impact on the vocational knowledge dimension of the new generation of skilled migrant workers in the construction industry,and the economic incentive has a greater impact on the vocational knowledge.(2)The three dimensions of salary incentive,namely economic incentive,job incentive and growth incentive,have a significant positive impact on the vocational skills of the new generation of migrant workers in the construction industry,and the impact of economic incentive and work incentive is relatively greater than that of growth incentive.(3)Self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between salary incentive and skilful human capital of the new generation of migrant workers.
