| The construction of imperial mausoleums has its richness of content and shape and certain characteristics of the times.Compared with other building types,stoneworks are abundant and widely distributed.Therefore,the research on the stoneworks of mausoleum is representative and important.This paper investigates the stoneworks of the Eastern and Western Qing Tombs and systematically sorts out system of its style.By comparing the size and form of stone components,stone buildings and stone ornament,we explore the development of the stoneworks’ style of the Qing Tombs and determine their characteristics of the whole and internal proportion,to construct a relatively complete database of stoneworks in Qing tombs.On the other hand,we compare the commonalities and differences of related eras and architecture types to perfect the stoneworks’pedigree of the Qing Dynasty.On this basis,author reflects general changes in the imperial mausoleums of the Qing dynasty through the evolution of the stoneworks.At the same time,it tries to explore the construction process and design criteria of the stoneworks’style that has not been discussed in depth,and comparing with the historical documentary,verifies and enriches the construction process of the stoneworks in the Qing Dynasty.This will have a restricted view to the overall situation and form a more comprehensive understanding of the stoneworks in the Qing Dynasty. |
