| Since my country entered an aging society in 2000,the degree of population aging has been deepening, and it is gradually entering a deeply aging society. At the same time,a significant feature of my country’s population aging is the difference between urban and rural areas.Compared with cities, the situation of elderly care in rural areas is more severe.Rural elderly people have the characteristics of large base, poor living and living conditions, etc.,and elderly care has difficulty coping with it.Moreover, with the intensification of urbanization,a large number of migrant workers and students have been attracted, leading to serious rural aging and increasing number of left-behind elders.Traditional family care for the elderly can no longer meet the needs of rural elders.Since 2001 and 2005,my country has implemented the policies of "removing sites and merging schools" and "removing townships and towns" in rural areas.Rural primary schools have gradually merged and government office buildings have gradually been merged, and the number of vacant campuses and government office buildings has increased. As a result, the common public buildings in rural areas-school buildings and office buildings are "vacant" very seriously. In rural areas, there is a phenomenon of converting local public buildings such as vacant schools and offices into elderly care facilities, which not only solves the waste of vacant building resources, but also reduces the investment cost of elderly care facilities, and to a certain extent alleviates the severe situation of elderly care in rural areas. It is worthy of in-depth study..The author found through field visits and investigations that due to the lack of relevant theoretical research, the old-age facilities in rural areas that were converted from vacant public buildings have problems such as single overall function configuration, serious neglect of internal functional space design, and lack of humanized design. Therefore,it is necessary to treat vacant rural areas.Conduct related research on the design of public buildings to rebuild old-age facilitiesBased on the status quo of domestic old-age facilities for the reconstruction of existing buildings, this article first sorts out the current research status in this direction at home and abroad through field visits and case analysis, and defines the research scope of this article, takes the elderly care facilities reconstructed from vacant public buildings in rural areas in northern Henan as the research object, based on the living conditions of the elderly in rural areas, and aims to better meet the needs of the elderly in rural areas as a starting point, discussing the needs of the elderly in rural areas for the elderly, and then proceed.Research on the design of rebuilding vacant public buildings in rural areas for elderly care facilities, providing design reference for the construction of suitable rural elderly care spaces. The article is divided into three parts:First,it analyzes the rural construction environment in northern Henan, and understands the current needs of the elderly in rural areas in northern Henan and their physiological, psychological, and behavioral characteristics through preliminary literature research, visits and surveys, and questionnaires.Analyze the feasibility of converting vacant buildings into elderly care facilities in rural areas in northern Henan based on relevant information and specifications, select suitable types of vacant buildings for reconstruction, conduct in-depth research on them, analyze successful cases of such modified elderly care facilities at home and abroad, and learn from the past Experience in the space design of senior care facilities.secondly,by investigating and analyzing examples of senior care facilities reconstructed from vacant public buildings in rural areas in northern Henan, summarizing the current functional configuration, traffic flow lines, residential forms and functions, public spaces, and auxiliary facilities of this type of senior care facilities Problems in service facilities, humanized design and outdoor space planning. Finally,on the basis of the above-mentioned research, the reconstruction principles of economic efficiency, retrofitting for aging, humanization of design, and resource sharing are proposed,as well as from the configuration of elderly care functions and the integration of architectural space, the spatial transformation based on the rural construction environment,to meet the needs of rural elderly The design strategy is studied in five aspects: the spatial transformation of the needs of the elderly, the detailed aging transformation that meets the characteristics of the rural elderly, and the outdoor space transformation that combines the characteristics of the regional climate and the elderly.Furthermore,in view of the actual elderly care conditions in the rural areas of northern Henan, combined with the design practice-Shuangjing elderly care center reconstruction plan design, the transformation strategy is applied to the design, and the feasibility design study is carried out. This article focuses on the practical problems of rebuilding vacant public buildings in rural areas in northern Henan into elderly care facilities.Through detailed research,it hopes to provide reference and reference for the design of vacant public buildings in rural areas to rebuild elderly care facilities, promote the reuse of vacant public buildings in rural areas, and at the same time solve the problem in our country. The issue of rural elderly care provides new ideas. |
