Research On The Application Of Canal Culture In Liaocheng Waterfront Landscane Design

In China’s long history of development,countless prosperous cities have been built on rivers,and Chinese civilization has flourished with the development of cities.The Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal creates a flowing history with physical culture,which complements and coexists with coastal cities for centuries.Its historical geography,local customs,traditional customs and other cultural elements are the foundation of protection and inheritance in urban waterfront landscape design.At present,China’s Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal has encountered unprecedented opportunities and challenges in the construction of waterfront landscape.The lack of culture,the decline of ecological environment quality,the scattered functional land and the unreasonable planning of road system have become social hot issues.These key issues make us further explore the waterfront landscape design of Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and pay attention to how to integrate the ancient canal culture into the urban waterfront landscape.And better tap the connotation of canal culture,more appropriately and perfectly display canal culture in urban waterfront landscape design,and make it easier for residents of cities along the canal to accept and inherit the canal culture of the new era.This paper will take Liaocheng Dongchang Lake West belt park as an example,conduct in-depth investigation and analysis of Liaocheng local canal culture,and finally put forward the method of how to combine canal culture with urban waterfront landscape in the park.The full text consists of seven chapters.The first six chapters mainly describe the sequence of carrying out this topic,and the seventh chapter is a supplement to this topic.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research object,background,significance and research status at home and abroad,and puts forward some research methods and frameworks;The second chapter mainly explores the cultural concept of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and the related concepts of urban waterfront landscape,analyzes the current social research on water culture,regional culture and semiotics,and summarizes the interaction between different cultures;The third chapter mainly talks about the design strategy,discusses the carrier and design principles of canal culture in urban waterfront landscape,as well as the design ideas;The fourth chapter analyzes the relevant cases in China,and extracts the essence,to remove the dross and analyze the extraction of its design concept.The fifth chapter analyzes the connotation of canal culture in Liaocheng City,and obtains some needs of local residents for the project site through questionnaire survey,which can be inherited in the follow-up design;The sixth chapter is the overall design of the project site,from the design concept to zoning design,as well as special planning;The seventh chapter is the summary of the whole article.
