| With the gradual deepening of China’s high-speed railway network construction,more and more scholars invest in studying the impact of regional economy on highspeed railway construction.Although for many years,China’s high-speed railway has always maintained a trend of rapid development.However,due to the innate endowment of each city and region and the influence of the acquired development gap,cities with different economic development levels along the line are affected differently by the construction and opening of high-speed railway.Therefore,taking xi’an-chengdu high-speed railway as an example,this paper pays attention to the regional economic development and changes of cities along xi’an-chengdu before and after the opening of high-speed railway.Firstly,this paper expounds the related concepts of high-speed railway and the related theories of the impact of high-speed railway on regional economic development.Secondly,it sorts out and analyzes the corresponding academic achievements at home and abroad that the regional economic development is affected by the construction and opening of high-speed railway.Then,from a qualitative point of view,this paper studies and analyzes the mechanism and principle of regional economic development affected by high-speed railway.Firstly,this paper studies and analyzes the impact mechanism of high-speed railway construction and opening on accessibility and mobility,and then studies the impact mechanism of high-speed railway opening on urban industry,economy and spatial layout.These impact mechanisms include the following parts:regional accessibility and factor mobility are affected by the impact principle of the construction and opening of high-speed railway,which affects the traffic demand and travel mode.Due to the above impact mechanism,it is transmitted to the impact on regional economic growth,improvement of spatial layout and optimization of industrial proportion.Then,from the perspective of qualitative analysis,the empirical study analyzes the impact of the construction and opening of high-speed railway on the regional economic growth,and makes a detailed understanding of the economic development of the region through which Xicheng high-speed railway passes.After collecting the data of Sichuan Province and Shaanxi Province before and after the construction and opening node of Xicheng high-speed railway,this paper constructs the econometric model required for empirical analysis,studies the impact of regional economy on the construction and opening of high-speed railway from a quantitative perspective,and intuitively shows the economic growth Improvement of spatial layout and optimization of industrial proportionThe research results of this paper show that the development of cities along the line in this area is significantly different before and after the opening of high-speed railway construction.First,after the opening of xi’an-chengdu high-speed railway,its economic development speed is significantly lower than that of cities without stations,that is,the construction and opening of high-speed railway plays a significant role in promoting the regional economy.After the opening of high-speed railway,compared with cities without stations,the growth rate of per capita GDP is significantly lower than that of cities with stations.At this time,the significance level is 10%.The opening of high-speed railway has significantly improved the regional consumption level.Second,after the opening of xi’an-chengdu high-speed railway,compared with the cities without stations,the growth rate of the proportion of secondary production is significantly lower than that of the cities with stations,that is,the construction and opening of high-speed railway plays a significant role in promoting the adjustment of industrial structure.Moreover,after the opening of xi’an-chengdu high-speed railway,the growth rate of the proportion of tertiary industry is significantly lower than that of cities without stations.The results show that after the opening of high-speed railway,the driving effect of high-speed railway on the development of tertiary industry along the line is stable and significant.In general,the construction and opening of high-speed railway has a significant role in promoting the industrial adjustment of the region,and the development of tertiary industry has gradually become the main adjustment object of the region.Third,after the opening of xi’an-chengdu high-speed railway,compared with cities without stations,its population growth rate is not significantly lower than that of cities with stations,that is,the construction and opening of high-speed railway has no significant impact on the urban spatial structure effect of this place.The reason may be that after the completion and opening of the high-speed railway,the population accelerated to the two new first tier cities of Xi’an and Chengdu,rather than to the other cities along the line.Due to the strong siphon effect of the two cities on the region,the population of Xi’an and Chengdu shows a significant net increase effect. |
