| Duolang sheep,as an excellent local meat sheep breed in Xinjiang,has a large body,a fast growth rate and delicious meat.Hu sheep is a domestic breed with high reproductive rate.When Duolang sheep is crossed with Hu sheep,its hybrid offsprings show heterogeneous advantages,which can improve its meat production performance,exert breed potential,and at the same time improve the fecundity of Duolang sheep.This article aims to compare the weight and daily gain of each key growth node of Duohu hybrid F1 generation with male parent Duolang sheep and female Hu sheep from birth to 6 months of age,and analyze the heterosis of the early growth and development of the offsprings of Duohu hybrid.Through the comparison of 10 growth traits(weight,body height,body length,chest circumference,chest depth,chest width,tube circumference,ear length,ear width,and cross height)between the F1 generation of F1and its parents.On the basis of studying the correlation between body weight and body size of each population,through the construction of weight linear regression model,comprehensive analysis of the heterosis in meat production performance of the offsprings of Duohu hybrid.By comparing the difference in lambing rate and lamb survival rate between adult Duohu hybrid progeny and its parents,the heterosis of reproductive performance of Duohu hybrid progeny was analyzed.Provide technical parameters and reference for breeding of Duolang sheep with large size and multiple lamb types and Xinjiang sheep breed improvement.The specific research results are as follows:1.The early growth advantage analysis of the offspring of Duohu hybrids:The birth weight,3-month-old weight and 6-month-old weight of Duohu hybrid F1 generation are all higher than male parent Duolang sheep and female Hu sheep,and the offsprings of Duohu hybrid increase daily to 3 months of age.The weight was significantly higher than that of Duolang sheep and Hu sheep(P<0.01),and the daily gain of3 to 6 months old was significantly higher than that of Duolang sheep and Hu sheep(P>0.05).This shows that the offsprings of Duohu hybrid have faster growth and development in the early stage compared with their parents.2.Comparative analysis of the offsprings of Duohu hybrid and Hu sheep(female parent):(1)All the body weight and body measurements of the F1 generation of one-year-old Duohu were higher than those of the Hu sheep,and there were significant differences in body weight,body height,chest circumference,and ear length(P<0.05).The age weight of the two groups was extremely significant or significantly positively correlated with the 9-body scale index(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The optimal regression model for the age weight of the Duohu F1 generation is Y=0.257 X2(body length)+0.555 X3(chest circumference)+1.081 X5(chest width)-41.370,and the optimal regression model for the lake sheep’s age weight is Y=0.190 X1(Body height)+0.380 X2(body length)+1.065 X3(chest circumference)-63.882.(2)The lambing rate and lamb survival rate of adult ewes of Duohu F1 generation were lower than those of Hu sheep,and the difference was not significant(P>0.05).This shows that the offsprings of Duohu hybrid have a significant growth advantage compared with the female parent.3.Comparative analysis of the offsprings of Duohu hybrid and Duolang sheep(male parent):(1)Except for ear width,all other body weight and body measurements of Duohu F1 generation were higher than Duolang sheep,and the weight and chest circumference were extremely significant(P<0.01).The year-old weight of the two groups was extremely significant or significantly positively correlated with the9-body scale index(P<0.01 or P<0.05).the optimal regression model for the year-old weight of Duolang sheep was Y=0.358 X2(body length)+0.943 X3(chest circumference)+0.667 X4(chest depth)-78.352.(2)The lambing rate and lamb survival rate of adult ewes of Duohu F1 generation were higher than those of Duolang sheep,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).This shows that the offsprings of Duohu hybrid of Duohu have a significant advantage of high reproduction rate compared with the male parent.The above research results show that the offsprings of Duohu hybrid have extremely significant heterosis in early growth and development,and significant heterosis in reproductive performance and meat production performance. |
