"Xiang" is a common word in Chinese.The words and expressions containing "xiang" are very rich,involving various states of psychological events.This paper takes "Xiang" and words and expressions containing "xiang" as the research object,and carries out semantic analysis,valence analysis and pragmatic function analysis,compares its expression with English vocabulary,and statistically analyzes the use of foreign students in HSK corpus.Describe the types of errors that occur,analyze the causes of the errors,and propose relevant teaching suggestions accordingly.This paper mainly studies three aspects.The first is the ontology research of "Xiang" and the words and expressions containing "xiang".It is further clarified that the specific objects of this study are "xiang",83 words and expressions containing "xiang" and pragmatic marks containing "xiang" from the corpus.Analyze the semantics of "Xiang" and the words and expressions containing "xiang",conduct a valence check on the verbs and nouns of "xiang" and disyllabic words containing "xiang",and conduct a pragmatic function analysis of the pragmatic marks containing "xiang".Second,compare the corresponding expressions of "Xiang" and words and expressions containing "xiang" with English.Combined with authoritative dictionaries,analyze the similarities and differences in semantics,grammar and pragmatics of different-meaning "xiang" and English corresponding expressions,discuss the corresponding situation of "xiang X" and "X xiang" in English vocabulary,analyze the correspondence between pragmatic marks containing "xiang" and English pragmatic marks,and discuss the similarities and differences of pragmatic functions of the corresponding marks.Finally,count and analyze the situation of foreign students and English native students using "Xiang" and words and expressions containing "xiang",categorize the errors that appear in the HSK corpus from the three categories of characters,words,and pragmatic marks,try to analyze the causes of errors from three aspects: objective reasons,student reasons and teaching reasons,and integrate the research results of this paper to put forward reasonable suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
