| Children’s ability to resist frustration refers to the ability of children to tolerate and resolve frustrations and get rid of difficulties and frustrations.Studies have shown that 3-6 years old is a key period for the growth of children’s anti-frustration ability.Among them,middle-class parents have a strong demand for guidance of children’s anti-frustration ability.The impact and function of the anti-frustration ability of children in the class provides reference for early childhood educators and parents.In this study,two middle-class children in a kindergarten in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were selected as the research object,respectively as the experimental class and the control class.The two classes were pre-tested before the experiment,and then the 8-week frustration theme picture book activity was carried out in the experimental class Intervention,the control class does not intervene,and post-test is conducted after the end of the experiment.By collating the experimental data,the development of the anti-frustration ability of the children in the experiment class and the control class is compared.At the same time,observation and interview results are analyzed to draw conclusions.By using SPSS19.0 for statistical analysis,the following results were obtained:(1)Before the experiment,there was no significant difference in the ability of the experimental class and the control class to resist setbacks.(2)After the experiment,the ability of the experimental class toresist setbacks is higher than that of the control class.(3)The anti-frustration ability of the experimental class and the post-test results of each dimension are significantly higher than the pre-test.In addition,the frustration-themed picture book activity significantly improved the learning,communication,and sports fields of the middle-class children,which shows that the frustration-themed picture book activity can effectively promote the development of the middle-class children’s ability to resist frustration. |
