Adolescence refers to the transition period from children to adults,which is the second peak period after infancy.Adolescence is the most rapid and obvious period of physical and mental change,It is manifested in body,appearance,behavior-pattern,self-consciousness,communication,emotional characteristics,outlook on life are separated from the characteristics of children and gradually mature,closer to adults.These rapid changes will cause psychological problems,such as perplexing,inferiority complex,uneasiness,anxiety and even various setbacks,which will affect the healthy development of the individual's body and mind.Among them,the situation of junior high school students who have just entered puberty is the most suitable.This study takes junior high school students as a research group to explore the current situation of their ability to resist setbacks,and at the same time,from the perspective of positive psychology,provides feasible suggestions for improving junior high school students' ability to resist setbacks.This study selected 400 junior high school students from two junior middle schools in Jinzhou as the research object,Based on the questionnaire of college students' ability to resist setbacks,which is compiled by Fang Hongzhi(2015),combining with the three main research directions of positive psychology,the questionnaire of anti-frustration ability of junior high school students is compiled,which includes 20 items?Five dimensions were extracted,including positive cognitive dimension,positive emotional dimension,resilience and willpower dimension,problem-solving dimension,seeking support dimension,and statistical analysis of the collected data.The results show that:On the whole,junior high school students' ability to resist setbacks is at a low level,basically up to qualified;From the specific point of view,when encountered setbacks,junior high school students' cognition of frustration has certaindeviation.Their level of will is relatively weak;they are negative about setbacks;they take the wrong approach;they lack positive support.Based on this situation,this study starts from the perspective of positive psychology,from the three aspects of positive personality,positive emotion and positive environment,the feasibility suggestions on the ability of resisting setbacks of junior high school students are put forward,help educators can better the frustration education of junior high school students,so that junior high school students can safely through adolescence.
