| Measure adjectives are a small category of property adjectives.Although their number is not huge, they are used very frequently and widely used. However,in the long-term teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, monosyllabic measure adjectives have always been an undervalued part of the language,so that foreign students have a lot of errors in practical applications. This study focuses on 27 monosyllabic adjectives. The author mainly does the following:First of all, based on previous studies,we further examined the use rules of monosyllabic measure adjectives, such as the semantics, syntactic components, and various combinations of monosyllabic measure adjectives,in various syntactic structures and when used with different parts of speech balance.Secondly,a preliminary analysis of some sentences in the HSK dynamic composition corpus about measuring adjective errors was made, and then a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate foreign students in the third grade of the Chinese major at the International College of Yunnan University.SPSS23.0,EXCEL2010 and other statistical software performed objective analysis on the obtained data. This research finds that: First, the degree of mastery between the meanings of monosyllabic measure adjectives is unbalanced. The original meaning is better than the extended meaning. Most of the extended meanings are non-spatial semantics, and sometimes they must have the cultural psychology of the Han people to think about problems,Students feel difficult.Second, there are serious mis-generations between monosyllabic measure adjectives, and the missynchronizations between single-syllable measure adjectives in the same direction are more serious, and the mis-synchronization between opposite directions is weaker.Third, there is a serious misrepresentation between monosyllable measure adjectives and other monosyllable adjectives.Metrics described in Dali are often misrepresented with monosyllable measure adjectives that express strong sense, and monosyllable measure adjectives in Xiaoli. It is often misrepresented with monosyllable metric adjectives indicating weak sense.Fourth, when two single-syllable measure adjectives are combined into a new word, there may still be misgeneration between these new words.Students do not quite understand the rules for combining new words,do not know what two monosyllable measure adjectives can be combined,do not know the order of combination, and cannot choose the correct combination according to the context.Fifth, because the same word, synonyms,or words that contain the same morpheme are equal or related in meaning, students cannot choose the correct monosyllable measure adjective to use with it.Sixth, the grammatical errors of monosyllabic measure adjectives are mainly manifested in the imbalance of sentence patterns and semantics that lead to errors in monosyllabic measure adjectives;the presence or absence of "de" in the phrase structure appears casual; The restriction on the choice of syllable measure adjectives is ignored;whether it is its own overlapping form or a new word combined, students are not sensitive to the transfer of parts of speech. The word order in the sentence is incorrect. The potential influencing factors of bias may be as follows: the background of the mother tongue of the students, the imbalance of the semantic meaning of the words, the way of thinking and expression of the Han people, the semantics of the words used with them, the lack of understanding of the Chinese rhythm and The subtle changes in part of speech when these words appear in different forms are not sensitive. Finally, the author proposes their own coping strategies for the three groups of teachers, textbook editors, and corpus experts,in order to increase the monosyllabic measure of adjectives in the future teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. |
