| This paper collects the example sentences about the reduplication of adjectives through reading the Corpora of Beijing Language and Culture University, based on which we carried out quantitative correlation data analyses and qualitative analysis.Chapter one is the Preliminary Remarks. This part is mainly about the origin and the overview of this topic, which makes the reader, may have an overall awareness about the reduplication of adjectives, and states the area of research, the stages of research and the research methods.Chapter two is about the errors'types of the students abroad. This includes six parts:1. The errors of the reduplication of adjectives. Some of the adjectives used don't have the ability to reduplicate. Some of the adjectives used have the ability but the form is wrong. Some errors are that the students add one reduplicated form to another one.2. The deformity of the reduplication of adjectives. This error is the students used the prototype of the adjectives which should use the form of the reduplication of adjectives. According to the elements within the grammatical structure of a sentence the reduplication of adjectives play, we divide this error type into three parts, and pursue a discussion.3. The superabundance of the reduplication of adjectives. This error is the students used the form of the reduplication of adjectives which should use the prototype of the adjectives. Same as above, according to the elements within the grammatical structure of a sentence the reduplication of adjectives play, we divide this error type into three parts too, and pursue a discussion.4. The improper collocation. It mainly contains two parts: the improper collocation in lexical meaning and the improper collocation in the syntax stratification, which are improved.5. The improper word orders. The students put the reduplication of adjectives in the wrong position as the elements within the grammatical structure of a sentence.6. The absence of the"de". The reduplication of adjectives is always not free when it acts as the elements within the grammatical structure. So it often relays on"de"to get the freedom. And at this time,"de"is necessary; otherwise we will make so mistakes. The students mainly are affected by their mother tongue to make such mistakes.Chapter three is mainly to discuss the reasons of the errors. One error is not only affected by one type of the reasons. They are always the results of the cross-role of many reasons. This chapter concludes the reasons, which conclude four parts: negative transfer of mother tongue; the generalization rules of the target language and the strategy to avoid; the improper learning strategies and the disadvantages in the teaching.Chapter four is about the reduplication of adjectives in the teaching. We discuss the shortage in the teaching and the editing of the Chinese Teaching Materials. In the class teaching we should introduce the Grammar points visually, and explain them clearly and comprehensively. In the editing of the Chinese Teaching Materials, the words translation and the explanation of the Grammar points must be very precise. The selection and the ranking of the Grammar points must accord with the acquisition order of the students.At last,this paper also propounds the problems which are unconcerned through looking into the uninformative phenomena in the course of using the reduplication of adjectives, and hope that will switch on the relative research in this area from now on. |
