This paper mainly examines the use of property adjectives in the inter-language corpus from English-speaking students. We make a detailed analysis on it and attempt to find the reasons of errors, which helps us to come up with some better teaching strategies to help English-speaking students to understand Chinese property adjective knowledge.The introduction part introduces the background and significance of the topic, and briefly explains the research methods, and the sources of corpus, and then states briefly about the basic framework of the research.The first chapter is divided into two parts, the first part of it introductions the theoretical basis of this paper, including the inter-language theory, contrast analysis theory and error analysis theory and the relationship between them. The theoretical framework of this study is constructed to provide scientific theoretical guidance for the analysis and research of this paper. And the second part of it summarizes the research results about the ontology knowledge of property adjectives, and contrast analysis between Chinese and English adjectives, as well as the use of error analysis in previous.The second chapter makes a detailed analysis of the error corpus and the way to how to obtain it. In this paper, the corpus of errors is mainly derived from the use of property adjectives and the corpus of English-speaking students in HSK dynamic composition corpus. In the first part of the second chapter, the author records the process of collecting errors, and organizes errors corpus macroscopically. The second part is the classification and preliminary analysis of the representative errors corpus of the English-speaking learners.The third chapter further analyzes the causes of errors from the perspective of inter-lingual causes, internal causes and the factors of students and teachers.The fourth chapter puts forward the countermeasures of perfecting teaching links,and improves the three aspects which is teaching methods and teaching materials, puts forward the optimization suggestions and specific programs, and also the quality of teachers, hoping to help English-speaking students to learn Chinese property adjectives.
