The Admittance Conditions And Algorithm On VO Clutch Word In "Vovde Zenmeyang"(VOV 得怎么样)

This paper analyzes and explains the admittance conditions on VO clutch words in“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”at the semantic stratification.“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”is an useful expression in Chinese.This structure can be regarded as the interrogative form of verb copy form("NP1+V1+NP2+V2+C"format),and we also call it“verb repeating structure or compound verb structure”.In this structure,the meanings of two verbs are same.From the view of information processing,an algorithm for admittance conditions on VO clutch words in“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”is obtained.The admittance conditions on VO clutch words in“VOV de zenmeyang?(VOV得怎么样)”are concerned with implicit semantic content of VO,which includes the following aspects of meanings:(1)the continuity of the action;(2)the autonomy of the verb;(3)the non-negative nature.These admittance conditions have different influences on whether the VO can enter the“VOV de zenmeyang?(VOV得怎么样)”structure,so the order of the judgement is different.The assistant algorithm are formed by the admittance conditions on VO clutch words in“VOV de zenmeyang?(VOV得怎么样)”structure and it becomes a mechanism for user to judge whether the VO can enter the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure.At the same time,this mechanism will enhance users’understanding of“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”.This part introduces the reason of topic choosing and summarizes the researches on the study of verb-copying sentences.In general,previous studies on verb-copying sentences can be divided into four categories as follow:(1)the definition of the name of the verb-copying sentence;(2)the generation and formation mechanism of the verbcopying;(3)the characteristics functions and pragmatic functions of verb-copying sentence;(4)the discussion of the interrogative form“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”.These researches on verb-copying sentence are in depth and meticulous,but the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure as a interrogative form of verbcopying sentence as well as whether the clutch verb can enter the structure is not enough.This paper compiles an algorithm to help people judge wether the verb-object clutch word can enter the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure.The first part of the article reviews and summarizes the results of computational semantics.The second part introduces the source of the corpus and the research method.This paper conducts a hierarchical sampling survey of the clutch words in the Dictionary For The Usage of Clutch Word in Modern Chinese edited by Yang Qinghui,and investigates Chinese native speakers about the question wether the clutch words can enter the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure then screen out clutch words that can enter the structure.The research found that if the verb-object clutch words entered the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure they needs to meet three admitance conditions:(1)the continuity of the action;(2)the autonomy of the verb;(3)the emotional color of the action is not derogatory.Draw the general algorithm of the verb-object acronym entering the structure according to the entry conditions.The third part discuss the"continuity of action"—as one of the admittance conditions.If the verb-object clutch word wants to enter the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure,it must to be a"continuity action".In this article,"continuity"is defined as:the time occupied by the action occurred or repeated by the verb-object clutch word or after the end of the action cannot be ignored in human cognition.(C1)"V1+O+V2+le(了)+Quantitative Object"and(C2)"V1+le(了)+O+Quantitative Object"determine the continuity of the action and represented by the verb-object.Inheriting the Ma Qingzhu’s classification,we divides the verbobject clutch word into VO with non-persistence,VO with strong persistence,and VO with weak persistent.At the same time,an algorithm for judging the"continuity"of the verb-object clutch word derived from the perspective of semantics and cognition.In addition,this chapter also proposes concepts such as"time scale","time map",and so on to explain the differences between"points"and"periods"in cognition.The fourth part discusses the admittance conditions— "autonomy".Autonomy is not only a semantic feature but also related to the grammatical collocation and pragmatic functions of verbs.Therefore,it is important to establish an algorithm for determining verb autonomy.In this chapter,we study the algorithm that can determine the autonomy of verbs.By analyzing the semantic features of the autonomy of verbs,we find three semantic conditions that determine the autonomy of verbs and verbs:(1)the verbs express actions,while not nature or state;(2)the subject of the action is the agent;(3)the agent has [+ life].According to these three criteria,an algorithm for judging the autonomy of verbs and verbs is developed.The fifth part discusses the entry conditions of"motion contains non-derogatory meaning".This entry condition requires that the verb-partition words in the“VOV de zenmeyang?(VOV得怎么样)”Structure are not derogatory.Therefore,this chapter combines the"Modern Chinese Dictionary"to classify the participatory words in the survey and classify them:neutral,ambiguous,inclusive There are three main categories of derogatory verbs.As long as the verb-parting words meet the"non-derogatory"characteristics,they can enter“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”.The sixth part is the conclusion.In this paper,we screened out the verb-partition words that can enter the“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure,and obtained the entry conditions for VO to enter the structure:continuity,autonomy,nonderogation of affection,then we write an algorithm for this question.This research can not only help determine whether the verb-partition word can enter“VOV de zenmeyang(VOV得怎么样)”structure but also helps to teach foreigner learn Chinese as a second language.
