With deepening of global integration and increasingly frequent cultural exchanges among countries,China takes the "go globally" strategy of its excellent traditional culture to achieve better development as well as indicate great comprehensive national strength by its positive image.As one of the most popular TV programs,Chinese interview programs serve as a channel for China to promote greatly its opening-up policy.Therefore,more and more attention has been paid to Chinese interview programs and their interpretation.This is a Chinese-to-English simulated simultaneous interpreting report based on Voice,a series of program of CCTV Comprehensive Channel.As the first youth online courses in China,Voice is an interview program,mainly discussing the social problems in China to remove the confusion of the teenagers.The source material is characterized by the great diversity in its form,expression and emotion.Guided by the Interpretive Theory of Translation,the interpreter applies relevant interpreting strategies in the process of practice to ensure both the accuracy in its meaning and the flexibility in its form.Through the interpreting practice and the writing of this report,the interpreter acquires a lot of knowledge about interview program interpretation and many expressing ways.It is hoped that the practice can enable other scholars to have a better understanding of the application of the Interpretive Theory of Translation and its relevant interpreting strategies in the interpretation of interview programs,which may provide some value for further research in this field.
