Needs Analysis Of Chinese Learners In Confucius Institute Belarusian State University Of Physical Culture

As the "Belt and Road" initiative continues to advance and deepen,China has increasingly frequent exchanges with countries along the route.The world urgently needs to understand China,and learning Chinese has become the best way.As one of the important countries along the “Belt and Road”.As of December 2019,there are 6Confucius Institutes and 1 Confucius Classroom in Belarus.The Confucius Institute at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture is the only CI in the country that specializes in Wu Shu and has trained many professionals over the years.The Confucius Institute at the Belarusian National Sports University combines the characteristics of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture and introduces the concepts of Chinese traditional Wu Shu and health preservation to build a high-profile and influential modern and high-quality "Chinese martial arts and traditional health Confucius Institute" in Eastern Europe.In order to meet the needs of Belarusians to learn Chinese,the Confucius Institute at Belarusian State University of Physical Culture has not only achieved outstanding results in the teaching of special Wu Shu,but also has been improving in the level of Chinese teaching,curriculum,and cultural activities.From September 2019 to July 2020,the author went to the Confucius Institute of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture to become an overseas Chinese volunteer teacher.This thesis is based on the author’s field investigation,guided by the theory of needs analysis,designed a questionnaire for Chinese learners in Belarus,combined with the questionnaire to analyze the learning goals and needs of the learners of the Confucius Institute at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.On this basis,it compares the needs of learners with the actual situation of the Confucius Institute,analyzes whether the current international Chinese teaching of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture can meet the needs of learners,and combines the problems found in the investigation and research to determine the curriculum of the Confucius Institute Put forward some suggestions for improvement in aspects such as teacher development,teacher training,cultural activities,etc.,to promote the Confucius Institute of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture to actively adapt to the increasingly diverse and individual needs of Chinese learners,thereby improving the quality of Confucius Institute teaching and promoting the construction of Confucius Institutes.To accelerate the localization process of international Chinese education.
