Textbook Translation And Teaching Of Xingyiquan From The Perspective Of TCFL

As one of the traditional Chinese martial arts,the style of Xingyiquan is powerful and fast,just like the lightning and thunder,which made it unique in Neijia Boxing.Besides,Xingyiquan contains elements of Chinese culture such as philosophy,aesthetics,medicine and so on.Practicing Xingyiquan can improve martial arts and spirit,which attracts more and more fans at home and abroad to learn.As a way of cultural communication,TCFL is not only an essential way to spread Xingyiquan,but also can enrich TCFL itself.So it will attract more foreigners to learn Xingyiquan and Chinese culture.However,from the perspective of Xingyiquan textbook translation,the translation works of Xingyiquan are not only few in quantity,but also lack of standardization and cultural interpretation,which leads to misreading by foreign readers.Therefore,in order to spread Xingyiquan,develop Chinese martial arts and promote the teaching of Xingyiquan in TCFL,it is particularly important to improve quality of Xingyiquan translation and Xingyiquan teaching.From the perspective of TCFL,this thesis focuses on the translation of key action terms,cultural words with Chinese characteristics and special sentences of Xingyiquan.The thesis comprehensively uses a variety of translation methods and makes translation case analysis of the key contents of Xingyiquan on the basis of cultural relevance.The thesis analyzes the feasibility of Xingyiquan teaching in TCFL and the relevant communication strategies,then carries out the instructional design based on them.This thesis includes five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction of this thesis.It mainly expounds the purpose and significance of this research,summarizes the relevant research results at home and abroad,points out the shortcomings of the current research and determines the research direction.The second chapter is an overview of Xingyiquan and its text.It mainly introduces Xingyiquan and analyzes the characteristics of the text,the key points and the difficulties of translation.The third chapter is the translation principles and strategies of Xingyiquan from the perspective of TCFL.This chapter analyzes the translation principles and strategies of Xingyiquan from the perspective of TCFL.The fourth chapter is the translation case analysis of Xingyiquan course.This chapter mainly analyzes the typical cases from three aspects: word,phrase and text.The fifth chapter is the communication of Xingyiquan and TCFL.This chapter mainly analyzes the status and purposes of Xingyiquan communication,the nature,purposes,approaches and contents of TCFL,the relationship between Xingyiquan and TCFL,as well as the strategies of their collaborative development.Then make a instructional design based on them.The sixth chapter is conclusion which summarizes the viewpoints of this thesis and points out the dificiencies of this research.
