| As a well-known and prolific contemporary Japanese mystery novelist,Keigo Higashino has become The "king of the best-selling" in the world of mystery novels because of the ups and downs of the plot,ingenious and precise structure layout,meticulous and clear logical reasoning,the image of round characters,and deep thinking about human nature and social issues.Compared with the academic circles’ emphasis on the themes and creative characteristics of Keigo Higashino’s works,I believe that the ethical concepts conveyed by Keigo Higashino through his works should also receive academic attention.This article will take the existing Chinese translation of Keigo Higashino’s work as the research object.Based on close reading of the text,use the methods of ethical criticism of literary to analyze the ethical environment in the text,the confusion of ethical identity and ethical choices by the characters in the environment,and then to explore the ethical pursuit in Higashino Keigo’s mysteries.This thesis is divided into five parts.Except for the introduction and conclusion,the main part is divided into three chapters.The introduction briefly introduces Higashino Keigo and his creation,the current research situation at home and abroad,and explains the reason for selected topic,research methods and research significance.Chapter 1 starts from the family ethical environment,It analyzes the family ethical issues in these novels,analyzes the identity and ethical choices of the characters in combination with the ethical taboos in the Japanese family,and then explores the causes of family ethical problems and Keigo Higashino’s redemption consciousness and ethical pursuit expressed through resemption images in his novels.Chapter 2,starting from the ethical environment of the campus,explains the reality of class collapse and alienation of teacher-student relationship exposed in the works,analyzes the transformation of ethical identity of teachers and students and the ethical choices made under a specific culture background in combination with the culture of shame,and make attribution to the ethical identity of teacher-student relationship.Chapter 3 starts from the social ethical environment,traces the source of egoism and social discrimination in society by combining relevant works,analyzes the ethical dilemma and ethical choice faced by the characters under the contradiction between justice and law,and summarizes and reflects on the nature of crime and punishment.The conclusion part combs the whole text,analyzes Keigo Higashino’s humanistic pursuit of ethical thoughts and moral principles,and summarizes the ethical enlightenment that works bring to people behind the ethical order,in order to provide some enlightenment for the creation of mystery novels in China. |
