| Because the rapid development of modern cities in the world intensifies the competition between cities,people not only require the urban construction to meet the urban functional and material needs,but also begin to pursue the spiritual and cultural enjoyment.In the process of construction,the homogenization of visual form and color tone of many cities leads to more and more fuzzy personalized characteristics of urban areas.In addition,to build a personalized city image,we should deeply understand the construction of cultural tradition and regional characteristics.Regional culture is the core of urban charm.In order to better develop tourism,a city should not only emphasize its own characteristics of tourism resources,but also create a visual environment compatible with regional culture to inject cultural elements into the city’s tourism industry.Therefore,the city can create differences with other tourism cities of the same type of resources,attract more tourism consumers,and improve the revisit rate and satisfaction of tourism consumers.Moreover,it can also enhance the local residents’ sense of identity to the value of urban tourism.Therefore,on the basis of regional cultural differences,the construction and promotion of visual image design of famous tourist city is the only way for the sustainable development of urban tourism.Based on the needs of the new era of the history and current situation of urban development,this paper uses the theory of city visual image to guide the design practice according to the theory of visual image of famous tourist city and regional culture.Taking the visual image building of Guilin tourist city as an example,this paper has combined with the typical cases of urban visual image design at home and abroad,and has put forward the corresponding strategies for the visual image design and communication of Guilin tourist city under the investigation of its visual image.From the perspective of design,this paper deeply explores the positioning of Guilin regional culture,integrates landscape culture,historical culture and folk culture resources,as well as extracts the urban visual symbols of Guilin from nature,humanities,history,folk custom,architecture and diet.Taking " Greater Guilin" as the theme,this design practice has determined the theme logo,standard font and standard color.Based on the expression of modern illustration,Guilin regional cultural characteristics are integrated into the illustration,and a series of representative tourism theme illustrations are created and integrated.Finally,this paper presents the visual effect of the design through urban outdoor advertising,tourism cultural and creative derivative products,while widely spreads in the contact design of the interactive platform to focus on quickly,comprehensively,novel and accurately conveying the overall impression and tourism characteristics of the cultural city to tourists.Therefore,based on the integration of modern design concept and traditional culture,this paper is committed to enhance the popularity of Guilin and help the sustainable development of Guilin tourism.interactive platform to focus on quickly,comprehensively,novel and accurately conveying the overall impression and tourism characteristics of the cultural city to tourists.Therefore,based on the integration of modern design concept and traditional culture,this paper is committed to enhance the popularity of Guilin and help the sustainable development of Guilin tourism. |
