| The Great Pyramid K 2019 is a scientific documentary that tells how the Great Pyramid(Khufu Pyramid)was constructed from the perspective of concrete pouring.It shows the latest findings about Pyramid construction.This report takes the first 90 minutes of the documentary as the research material of simulated simultaneous interpretation.The duration of simultaneous interpretation is 5-10 minutes.The interpretation was done in a way of multiple simultaneous interpreting.The author uses the interpretive theory to discuss the translation of popular science documentaries.The author uses sentence division,conversion,addition and negation to analyze cases in order to solve problems such as improper pauses and logic confusion.The report is mainly divided into four parts: introduction,the process,case analysis and summary.It is hoped that this translation practice can help the author to accumulate interpreting experience in the field of architecture and science popularization,and lay a solid foundation for future interpretation and translation. |
