Since ancient times, the study of social justice has been the focus of thinkers. As an important part of social justice, gender justice is the product of western feminism after more than 200 years of development. It is the challenge of feminism to gender injustice and the examination and improvement of mainstream justice.Through the study of feminism,it is found that the practical and theoretical challenges of gender justice can be summarized as three levels: political level, economic level and cultural level.Theoretically, its root lies in the binary division of traditional public and private fields, gender neutrality in mainstream justice theory and the lack of neutral contract in social contract. In view of the lack of gender justice in the mainstream justice theory, combined with the practical problems in different fields,on the one hand,it breaks the traditional binary opposition division of public and private fields according to "private is politics",on the other hand,it explores the construction basis of gender justice theory according to the principles of equal opportunity, equal difference and equal freedom. The construction of gender justice by feminism mainly includes political gender justice, economic gender justice and cultural gender justice, which leads to the division between Neo liberal feminism,Marxist feminism and postmodern feminism. On this basis,Nancy Fraser puts forward the concept of "one core and three dimensions" of gender justice, trying to reconcile economy, culture and politics to reconstruct gender justice. The core of Fraser’s theory is to take "equal participation" as the "one dimension" core.Gender justice has a strong political nature since the beginning of feminism.Under the theory of "unitary three-dimensional" gender justice, political background, economic distribution and cultural identity are equally important and occupy the core position.Of course, the construction of gender justice theory is still in exploration. Its rich and inclusive theoretical perspective not only provides new inspiration for the improvement and development of social justice, but also provides ideological weapons for the reconciliation of more acute social contradictions in the post epidemic era. |
