| In the 1960s,people challenged the structuralism with opposition to the dualistic logicism and deconstructing to the metaphysical philosophical theory,which was the deconstruction.Jacques Derrida’s deconstruction is also known as the post-structuralism for it is based on the signifier and signified of linguistics and criticizes and develops the structuralism.The deconstruction holds that distinguished with the previous translation criterion,such as faithfulness,smoothness and beauty,equivalence and communication all based on the "being",it advocates that there is no absolute equivalence in translation,emphasizing the differences between two languages;the translation is no longer the original and it is an independent existence;the translator can exerts his own subjectivity in process of translating so as to determine the trend of translation.Deconstruction guides the E-C translation practice of The Simple Path to Wealth,a book of investment and finance in order to explore translation problems from a new perspective.The thesis introduces the background in detail,purpose and significance of choosing this topic and demonstrates the necessity of this practice report.This paper is composed with the three stages of pre-translation,translation and post-translation editing.Then,the paper analyzes the translation difficulties and puts forward effective translation strategies from the perspective of anti-logocentrism,differance,substitute and intertextuality.Finally,the theory of deconstruction is further developed in a new condition and the translator gains enlightenment and findings from translation practice. |
