| This report is based on the consecutive interpretation service provided by the author for the online business negotiation between Longkou Xinda Precision Rolling Products Co.,Ltd.and Renogear,a Spanish company,on November 5,2021.This report is divided into five chapters.Chapter One is task description,which mainly introduces two negotiating parties,the background of this interpretation,and features of this business negotiation.Chapter Two is process description,including pre-interpreting preparations,the during-interpreting process,and feedback and self-reflection.Chapter Three mainly introduces the Triangular Model of the Interpretive Theory and its application in this interpreting practice.Chapter Four is case analysis in which the author analyzes interpreting strategies adopted in this consecutive interpreting from the three aspects,namely “understanding”,“deverbalization” and “reformulation”according to the Triangular Model.Chapter Five is conclusion,which summarizes what the author harvested in this practice and fields that needed to be further studied in,and highlights the importance of pre-interpreting preparations,providing references for interpreters who aim to engage in business negotiation interpretation in the manufacturing industry in the future. |
