Analysis Of Marx’s Early Equality Thought

Equality is often regarded by thinkers as an important measure to measure the civilization and progress of human society.Equality is a historical category.In different historical contexts,its connotation and demands are different.Equality is a complex category.It is not enough to only stay in narrow areas such as politics and law.Without social production practice and its economic relations,it is impossible to deeply and accurately grasp the essence of substantive equality and equality.Sorting out and grasping the theoretical origin,development process,main contents and general characteristics of Marx’s early equality thought is conducive to objectively,comprehensively and concretely grasping the spiritual implication of Marx’s equality thought and enhancing the system confidence in the socialist justice and equality with Chinese characteristics.This article takes 1842 to 1845 as the time horizon of investigation.On the basis of textual research,this paper systematically explores and combs the logical generation,ideological development process and main contents of Marx’s early equality theory.The article holds that Marx’s early equality thought is based on "realistic people" and observes and inspects various forms and relationships of political equality,economic equality,social equality and substantive equality of opportunity.In Marx’s view,economic equality is embodied in three links of production,distribution and consumption,and production equality is the core content of all equality.The article holds that Marx’s early thought of equality has very distinct characteristics of practical philosophy.In Marx’s view,equality is not an abstract moral standard.Only by eliminating capitalist private ownership,and then in a communist society,can people truly realize their free and all-round development,can they freely and consciously carry out practical work according to their own needs,and can their values be reflected.The article holds that Marx’s early equality thought has an important revolutionary theoretical significance compared with the abstract equality view based on the previous philosophers’ abstract theory of human nature.It lays a solid logical foundation for the development of equality thought in the fields of economic philosophy,moral philosophy and social philosophy in the mature period.It also means that equality thought finally move towards science in the history of thought.The article holds that Marx’s early equality thought has important theoretical guiding significance for Chinese Marxism to solve the problem of social inequality,to practice the socialist core values,to realize the "two centennial" goals,to realize the "Chinese dream" and to construct the community of human destiny.
