Today’s society has entered the era of economic globalization,political multipolarization,cultural diversification and social information.China and the world are increasingly becoming the "fate community" with you and me.In this era,how can ideological and political education improve the affinity and appeal of Ideological and political education through the continuous improvement of the methods.It is an important subject for the innovation and development of Ideological and political education.This paper makes a systematic comparison and analysis of the basic methods of Ideological and political education in China and the United States by means of comparative study,literature review and inductive analysis.The basic method of Ideological and political education is an important way to achieve the goal of Ideological and political education and to spread the contents of Ideological and political education.It plays an important role in the dissemination of bourgeois ideology.As a special social practice activity in the class society,the basic methods of Ideological and political education in China and the United States are similar.However,due to the differences in the theoretical basis,cultural environment and consciousness form of Ideological and political education between China and the United States,the basic methods of Ideological and political education in China and the United States have significant differences.Based on the reality of China’s social development,we should learn from the useful experience of the implementation of the basic methods of Ideological and political education in the United States,and infiltrate ideological and political education into social life.That is to say,through instillation and infiltration,we should complement each other and cooperate with each other,use narrative methods to give full play to the educational function of Chinese excellent history and culture,strengthen and improve the application of Ideological and political education practice methods,and improve the application of psychological counseling in Ideological and Political Education,so as to constantly improve the basic methods of Ideological and political education in China.Through a comparative study of the basic methods of Ideological and political education in China and the United States,the similarities and differences of the methods of Ideological and political education between the two countries are compared and analyzed so as to realize the innovation and development of our ideological and political education methods and enhance the effectiveness of Ideological and Political Education.
