Since its inception,trade unions have played an important role in safeguarding the rights and interests of workers and in mediating labour relations.With the rapid development of economy,the gradual release of all walks of life,influx of foreign companies,the rise of private enterprise,the ownership structure of our country is also changing gradually.The development of the economy of individual,private and foreign capital and the reform of state-owned and collective enterprises make the problems in labor relations increasingly complicated.The employer pursues the maximization of profits,and the employee pursues the maximization of the wage,and this distinct conflict of interest leads to a frequent conflict of labour.In terms of research,the current research on trade unions rights protection in China is mainly found at the macro level,with more qualitative analysis and less quantitative analysis,and less detailed research on legislative details,optimization of rights protection mechanism and reform of working mode at the micro level.Starting from the actual work of P city federation of trade unions in Henan Province,the author more intuitively discusses the role of prefectural level trade unions in resolving labor conflicts.Problems affecting the work of trade unions were analyzed and targeted suggestions were put forward,which could explore how trade unions could play their due role more actively and help build harmonious labor relations in the new era.In this paper,the literature research method,case analysis method and investigation research method are applied,which are based on the theory of "social conflict" and "collaborative governance".First of all,the working mechanism of Trade unionss’ participation in resolving labor conflicts in China is summarized,which can study and sort out the current situation of labor conflicts in P City,Henan Province,as well as the implementation situation and effectiveness of the work of P City Federation of trade unionss’ participation in resolving labor conflicts.At the same time,the author’s investigation of the local labor conflict is combined with the field investigation of some counties.At present,there are some prominent problems in China’s trade unionss’ participation in the work of resolving labor conflicts,such as imperfect laws,regulations and policies,difficulty in the existing mechanism of safeguarding rights to play a real role,and weak mass foundation of trade unionss,which have been resolved.The reasons behind the problems are analyzed from four aspects: the lack of protection of laws and regulations makes the trade unionss dare not protect their rights,the low working efficiency of resolving labor conflicts,the tendency of administrating,and the need to improve the professional quality of the trade unions cadres.At the same time,some local experience of trade unionss involved in resolving labor conflicts is used for reference.Finally,solutions are proposed in four aspects: improving the legal construction related to trade unions participation in resolving labor conflicts,innovating the working mode of trade unions participation in resolving labor conflicts,continuously deepening the reform of trade unions working system,and building a professional talent team to resolve labor conflicts.At the same time,due to the constraints of various subjective and objective factors,this study also has some defects and deficiencies.In this aspect,the existing problems are not analyzed deeply enough,and the solutions are not comprehensive enough.Therefore,it needs to be further studied and improved in the future.
