Developing The Preventive Measures For Transformation Of Community Based Tourism Into Community Controlled Tourism

This study includes the identification of problems and issues in a community based tourism approach which leads to the formation of community controlled tourism phenomenon.The community conflicts over the resources involves several issues and challenges that provides bases for other unfavorable phenomenon’s in a tourism community.This study will provide the guidelines for a successful community based tourism programs by analyzing the loopholes in a CBT project that can become the causes to originate a CCT phenomenon.The stakeholders involved in a community based tourism development project are interviewed and their opinions and responses are treated separately as they have different relations and expectations from the tourism resources in a CBT project.It is a qualitative study where the data is coded as different themes and then by utilizing the critical theory this data is illustrated in a dynamic model to identify the issues in a CBT and their transformation and relationships with the causes of community controlled tourism phenomenon with a timeline in different stages.This exploratory research study have identified the issues and challenges in the context of stakeholders in a tourism industry along with suggesting the strategies by which we can solve these issues in a CBT and manage it well to limit its transformation into a Community Controlled Tourism(CCT).
