From Globalization To Networking

Studying Marx’s critical thought of capital "space" from the perspective of genetics is an important theoretical theme of Marx’s philosophy research.The so-called genetic research is to clarify the growth,original and future directions of Marx’s critical thinking on capital "space".The first part of the article combines the reality of the development of capitalism and the theoretical background of Marx’s capital critical thoughts,and identifies the soil for the occurrence and future development of Marx’s capital "space" critical thoughts.Industrial capitalism and the first major change in human living space triggered by globalization-constituted the soil for Marx’s critical thinking on capital space;digital capitalism and the second major change in human living space triggered by it Transformation—networking—becomes the soil for the future development or the occurrence of future forms of Marx’s capital "space" critical thinking.The second chapter explains the original appearance and historical significance of Marx’s capital "space" critical thought based on the birth soil of Marx’s capital "space" critical thought-industrial capitalism and globalization.Based on historical materialism and the theory of surplus value,Marx revealed the spatial logic of capital and its exploitation essence,internal contradictions and realistic crises through the investigation of the process of capital circulation,production and aggregation.Marx refers directly to the critique of human communication,production and living spaces-world markets,global factories and industrial cities.Chapter Three reveals the future direction and contemporary significance of Marx’s capital "space" critical thought.In contemporary times,the reconciliation of digital network technology and capitalism has formed digital capitalism,igniting the second "space" revolution,shaping the "new space" of human life,and promoting networking."Network" has become a new place for capital expropriation and supervision of individual lives.On the one hand,digital capitalism has not changed the logic and internal contradictions of capital,and the deep integration of networking and globalization;on the other hand,the scientific and historical nature of Marx’s critical thinking on capital space.Two reasons make Marx’s critical thinking of capital “space” still have strong explanatory power and critical effectiveness in the face of digital capitalism and the“new space”it creates.The "exceptional space" of personal life captured by capital and the human living space with increased inequality caused by digital capitalism and networking constitute the problem domain of Marx’s capital "space" critical thinking.Rooted in practical problems,Marx’s critical thinking on capital "space" may show multiple orientations: 1.In terms of "communicative space",from the criticism of the traditional commodity market to the criticism of the mass data market;2.In the "production space" On the one hand,from the criticism of large industries and factories to the criticism of the information industry and the network;3.In terms of "living space",from the criticism of commodity fetishism to the criticism of information fetishism.An in-depth understanding of the two "space" revolutions triggered by capitalism,revealing the growth soil,original appearance and future orientation of Marx ’ s capital "space" critical thinking can not only confirm the "space" dimension of Marx’s capital criticism and clarify its historical significance,And it can provide theoretical enlightenment for revealing the nature of exploitation and enslavement of digital capitalism and its "space" configuration,reflecting on the new forms of capitalism,and highlighting the contemporary nature of Marx’s thought.
