Study On Villagers’ Participation Willingness And Influencing Factors In Beautiful Villages Construction In Yangpu Economic Development Zone,Hainan Province

The construction of beautiful villages is an important starting point for implementing the strategy of rural revitalization.As the unity of the main body and the beneficiary object of the construction of beautiful villages,the full mobilization of villagers’ initiative and creativity to participate in the construction of beautiful villages is the endogenous driving force and fundamental guarantee to achieve the sustainable and healthy development of the villages.Therefore,it is important to study the villagers’ willingness to participate in the construction of beautiful villages and the influencing factors in Yangpu Economic Development Zone to improve the villagers’ willingness to participate and promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.Based on the literature research,this paper adopts questionnaire survey method and quantitative analysis method based on participation democracy theory,village governance theory,planned behavior theory and other related theories to study the villagers’ willingness to participate in the construction of beautiful villages in Yangpu Economic Development Zone,Hainan Province,By using the method of logistic regression analysis,and distributes 349 questionnaires to analyze the villagers’ participation in the construction of beautiful villages from three aspects,such as villagers’ individual situation,cognitive situation and participation situation etc.The 12 factors that have a great influence on the villagers’ willingness to participate in the construction of beautiful villages were analyzed.The following conclusions were drawn:The villagers in Yangpu Economic Development Zone are not willing to participate in the construction of beautiful villages.The main reasons: First,the role of the government is not fully played,and the system of villagers’ participation is not in place;Second,the villagers’ awareness of initiative is insufficient,and the comprehensive quality of individuals is not high;Third,the guidance of social opinion and the construction of spiritual civilization are not sufficient.And the measures to improve the villagers’ willingness to participate in the Yangpu Economic Development Zone are proposed.First,the implementation of strict policies should be carried out,and the system of villagers’ participation should be improved;Second,to change the ideological awareness of villagers,and enhance the comprehensive quality of villagers;Third,to carry out a good job in guiding social opinion and strengthen the construction of spiritual civilization.This study is conducive to improving villagers’ willingness to participate in the construction of beautiful villages in Yangpu Economic Development Zone,promoting the smooth implementation of the construction of beautiful villages,and providing reference for the construction of beautiful villages in Yangpu Economic Development Zone and other areas.
