| The Communist Manifesto(hereinafter referred to as the Manifesto)is the program of the Communist league,the first comprehensive and systematic explanation of the Communist theory.And it is an important symbol of the birth of Marxism.The Manifesto is the starting point for criticizing the capitalist mode of production,it focuses on expressing the long-cherished wish of Marx and Engels on the emancipation of the proletariat.It also possesses an indispensable perspective to analyze and deepen the understanding of the original aspiration of the Communist Party of China(hereinafter referred to CPC).With more and more mentions of CPC’s original aspiration on different occasions,the Communist Party’s original aspiration contained in the Manifesto has been re-examined.It not only broadens the research perspective,but also provides valuable text basis and rich theoretical reference for both tracing the theoretical origin and promoting the practice of deepening the understanding of CPC’s initial aspiration.Based on the Manifesto and other relevant classic texts of Marx and Engels,this paper expounds the basic contents of Communist Party’s original aspiration with clarifying the appearance of it in the Manifesto.Thus,the paper holds that the original aspiration of the Communist Party is related to scientific theory and human destiny,and reflects great mission,ideal and responsibility.Combined with the practice of the Communist Party’s original intention under the sharp class antagonism and class exploitation in capitalist society,this paper expounds the distinctive characteristics of the Communist Party’s original intention as well as the inheritance and development of the CPC’s original aspiration.The original aspiration of the CPC is inherited from what Marx and Engels expounded in the Manifesto,rooted in the great practice of socialist cause and the unremitting exploration of the Chinese people and nation for a better life.This means that the CPC’s original aspiration is not only to ensure the well-being of the people,but to fulfill the mission of national rejuvenation and prosperity.In the period of new democratic revolution and socialist construction,the original aspiration was embodied in the revolutionary intention of getting rid of exploitation and oppression and the construction intention of achieving prosperity,while it was sublimated and presented as an important part of realizing national rejuvenation as well as the bearing on the destiny of human development in the new era.This serves both the interests of the Chinese people and nation and the aspiration of people all over the world to seek common development.Therefore,strengthening the Party’s construction,adhering to the people-centered development,building socialist modernization and a community of shared future for mankind are not only of practical significance to the development of the original aspiration of the CPC,but also of great significance to promoting the formation of a win-win development pattern for all countries. |
