| The public security organs shoulder the important responsibility of cracking down on crimes and maintaining public security.With the development of society,the crime situation is increasingly complicated,and the public security work is facing unprecedented changes and challenges.In the face of the new situation,female police officers play an increasingly important role in the public security system.However,from a gender perspective,men dominate the police industry,woman’s representation is insufficient,lack of voice,and the inequality in job placement and promotion training opportunities greatly limits the career development of women police.As an important part of the public security team,the female police has not received much attention for a long time,and the professional advantage cannot be exerted,resulting in a great waste of resources.Studying the status quo of the female police’s career development,finding problems and proposing targeted suggestions is conducive to mobilizing the enthusiasm of the female police,giving play to the advantages of the post and maintaining the harmony and stability of the public security team.Through the literature reading method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case study method,this paper takes the female police of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau j branch office as the investigation object,randomly selects some samples for analysis,and studies the career development of female police from the perspective of gender.In an attempt to analyze the status quo of female police officers’ career development and its influencing factors,existing problems and solutions to problems,through the discussion of the problem,seek a social mechanism suitable for the career development of woman’s police,in order to improve police effectiveness and maintain social stability.effect.Based on gender theory,career development theory,and domestic and foreign research on the career development of female police officers,this paper simply summarizes the current research status at home and abroad,proposes research methods and builds research models,and uses questionnaires and interviews in parallel.Way to research.The research object of this project is the female policeman of the Shanghai Branch of the Public Security Bureau.Using random sampling,according to the academic degree,age,marital status,job and other factors required by the research,the participants are randomly selected according to a certain proportion and structure and distributed for investigation A total of 168 questionnaires were collected.Based on the collection of data and the collation of information,the status and influence factors of the career development of women civilian police are analyzed,and corresponding suggestions and countermeasures are given from the four aspects of society,government,organization and individual based on the results of the survey.Studies have shown that the career development of female police officers is affected by factors such as gender segregation,gender bias,and work-family conflicts.There are problems in promoting “glass ceilings”,job marginalization,lack of discourse power,and the professional development of men and women.There are great differences.The author believes that there are four main reasons for the dilemma of the female police professional development: personal factors,organizational culture,social environment and government policies.And from the above four aspects to give corresponding recommendations: the government should give policy inclinations in childcare,retirement,pension,etc.;society should create a gender-equitable social environment;organizations should pay attention to the career development of women police,create equal Organizational culture;female police officers should balance the relationship between work and family,enhance their professional competitiveness,and plan their career path in the long run. |
