Research On The Influencing Factors Of Public Security Participation Of Urban Community Residents From The Perspective Of Decomposed Theory Of Planned Behavior

The community is an important field for innovating social governance models and building a safe social environment.As a community that carries residents to participate in social activities and carry out interpersonal communication,the situation of community governance largely reflects the modernization level of the national governance system and governance capabilities.Residents’ participation in community security governance is the proper meaning of modernization.At present,there is a phenomenon of residents’ passive participation in the process of public security governance in urban communities,and the endogenous force of residents’ public security participation is insufficient.Improving the driving force of residents’ participation in public security is the key to solving urban community governance problems in the new era.However,community residents’ participation in public security is constrained by many factors.This paper puts forward the optimization path of public security participation,which will have a far-reaching impact on motivating residents to independently participate in the maintenance of public security order,improving the grassroots social governance system,and enhancing national governance capabilities and governance levels.The purpose of this study is to discuss the influencing factors of urban community residents’ participation in public security,and to summarize the countermeasures to improve the enthusiasm of urban community residents’ participation in public security.After systematically sorting out the relevant literature on public security participation of urban community residents,it is found that there are few studies on the influencing factors of public security participation of urban community residents,and the research ideas and methods are relatively single.Therefore,this study uses the method of qualitative analysis plus quantitative research,adopts the theoretical model of decomposed planned behavior,combines social capital theory,constructs a structural equation model based on the objective form of the current community,and finds out the key influence of public security participation of urban community residents through sample data analysis factor.In order to ensure the accuracy of the design of each variable in the process of constructing the impact model,this paper selects a representative urban community of L Street,T City,Shandong Province as the field survey object,and conducts semi-structured interviews with community residents,based on the content of the interviews and referring to the previous literature review,extracting three key influencing factors of urban community residents’ public security participation behavioral attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control,based on which,an urban community public security participation model is constructed and corresponding research hypotheses are put forward;After discussing with experts,the initial questionnaire is drafted and the pre-investigation is conducted,and the feedback results of the pre-investigation test are continuously adjusted to form a formal questionnaire;A total of 419 valid questionnaires were collected,and the acquired sample data was analyzed using SPSS26.0and AMOS28.0 software for descriptive statistics and reliability and validity testing,model fit test,path analysis,and hypothesis verification.The results of the data analysis show that the public security participation willingness of urban community residents has a significant positive effect on the participation behavior;Normative and perceived behavior control factors have a positive influence,and the willingness to participate plays a mediating role between the three influencing factors and the participating behavior;Among the influencing factors,behavioral attitude has the strongest positive promotion effect on public security participation willingness,followed by subjective norms,and the least perceived behavior control,and behavioral attitudes and subjective norms have a significant role in promoting public security participation behavior.In the current urban security management activities,firstly,we should cultivate public spirit of residents’ security participation and empower residents’ security participation rationing to reshape residents’ attitudes towards security participation;secondly,we need to weave community connection network,deepen community interpersonal trust,improve community reciprocity norms and reconstruct community social identity to clarify residents’ subjective norms of security participation;finally,we should also broaden residents’ security participation channels and enhance residents’ security;Finally,we should also broaden the channels of residents’ participation in public security and enhance their literacy to strengthen the perceived behavioral control of residents’ participation in public security.By continuously optimizing the above paths to mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of residents’ security participation,we aim to build a harmonious,orderly and vibrant urban community and promote the continuous improvement of national governance effectiveness.
