The Rural Vitalization Strategy,was put forward at the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2017 after over Poverty Strategy,which is the reply to complicated problems appearing in the process of the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.The Rural Vitalization is a major target of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" in new era.It proposed highly requirements to village cadres,cadres at all.Village cadres are significant human resources,essential policy-implementors,and they play an important role in Rural Vitalization.With the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and the state’s attention to grassroots social management talents,the structure of village cadres is undergoing positive changes.Although the state has taken a series of measures and introduced relevant policies to protect the rights and interests of village cadres,it is still common in terms of turnover of village cadres,brain drain,which directly affects the effective implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.So,how about the job satisfaction of village cadres? What are the factors that affect the job satisfaction of village cadres? What policies and measures need to be improved to improve the job satisfaction of village cadres is worth studying and discussing.The purpose of this study is to explore the job satisfaction level of village cadres in several specific fields in the work situation,explore the factors affecting their willingness to serve rural revitalization,and find policy suggestions to improve their satisfaction.In this study,Herzberg’s Two-Factors theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and Adams’ equity theory were used.the basic situation of job satisfaction of village cadres in Yuanyang County,Honghe Prefecture,Yunnan province was collected through a questionnaire survey,and using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS22.0)for data analysis.The results as follow:(1)The factors that affect the job satisfaction of village cadres include job characteristics,personal development,salary and welfare and interpersonal relationship,and determine if these factors affect the job satisfaction of village cadres;(2)The overall job satisfaction,job characteristics,personal development and interpersonal relationship of village cadres are all at a high level,and the average satisfaction of salary and welfare is low.(3)Work characteristics: The more regular the commuting time of village cadres,the higher the satisfaction of village cadres;The more suitable the workload is,the less the work pressure is,the more the office equipment is,and the safer the work area is,the higher the job satisfaction of the village cadres will be,but the regional economic development has no significant influence on the job satisfaction of the village cadres;(4)Personal development: organizational justice and personal ability improvement are positively correlated with village cadres’ job satisfaction,while social evaluation has no significant effect on them;(5)There is a positive correlation between salary and welfare and job satisfaction of village cadres;(6)The three dimensions of interpersonal relationship(the relationship between village cadres and villagers,colleagues and leaders)are positively correlated with the job satisfaction of village cadres.(7)Demographic characteristics,such as gender and age,have no significant impact on the job satisfaction of village cadres in this study.Finally,in order to improve the job satisfaction of village cadres,this study puts forward suggestions as following: adhere to the principle of the party in charge of cadres,improve the employment system;Strengthen the exchange and training of village cadres,improve the overall quality of village cadres;Broaden the development channels of village cadres,stimulate the enthusiasm of village cadres;To establish harmonious organizational relations and promote the development of rural revitalization;We will improve the incentive and guarantee mechanism and actively solve various benefits for village officials.
