| Since the full-time professional master’s enrollment expansion in 2009,the professional master’s education quality problem has emerged.From the Angle of the students,the student satisfaction survey has opened up a new perspective for the professional degree education quality evaluation.The satisfaction of professional master is an important index to measure the quality of graduate education.To study the student’s satisfaction of full-time professional master,is an important embodiment of the education assessment which take student as center of education.It is also conducive to improve the school education service quality and management level and improve the quality of professional degree graduate education as well.This research attempts to make a survey of full-time professional master graduate students’satisfaction,and understand the current situation and characteristic of student satisfaction.Then,explore the influence mechanism of student engagement to student satisfaction and the way of improving student satisfaction.From the angle of student engagement and student satisfaction,this research select 426 students from N university as research objects and use questionnaires survey to collect data.Then this research use statistical software SPSS 19.0 to analyze data,including descriptive statistics,independent samples T test,single factor variance analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.We finally conclude following conclusions:First of all,the full-time professional master’s student satisfaction is on a middle level,and they are satisfied with mentor guide,and unsatisfied with teaching and professional practice.Secondly,From the point of demography variables,There are no significant differences of professional master student satisfaction between different gender,parents of the highest degree of culture and origin of student,meanwhile there are significant differences of professional master’s satisfaction between different grade,major,family income and the motive of reading.More specifically,the student satisfaction of grade three is higher than grade one and grade two.On the aspects of curriculum teaching satisfaction,professional practice satisfaction and overall satisfaction,satisfaction of students who major in science and engineering is higher than students major in humanities and social sciences.On the aspects of professional practice satisfaction,students from middle-income family’s satisfaction are higher than students from rich families and low-income family’s satisfaction.Overall satisfaction of students who hold academic pursuit motivation is higher than the other three kind’s motivation of students.Thirdly,Full-time professional master’s engagement has a significant influence on satisfaction.Active learning in and out of class,interaction between teachers and students and school support both have a significant influence on teaching satisfaction.The influence degree from high to low in turn is:the interaction between teachers and students,class inside and outside the active learning,school support.Interaction between teachers and students and school support have a significant impact on the mentor guide satisfaction,Among them the influence degree of the interaction between teachers and students is the largest.School support have a significant impact for the professional practice satisfaction.Interaction between teachers and students and school support both have a significant impact on full-time professional master’s overall satisfaction.Active learning inside and outside class has no significant effect on full-time professional master’s satisfaction.According to the above conclusions,we presented the following suggestions and solutions:First of all,we should set up the education conception of student center,and construct a training mode distinctly different from academic master.Secondly,strengthen the deep interaction between teachers and student and the implementation of Double Tutorial System.Thirdly,strengthen professional practice and perfect practice base construction.Lastly,establish a professional master’s satisfaction evaluation tracking mechanism. |
