| Professional social workers help people in need and have difficulty recover and develop social functions through the use of casework,group work and professional methods of community work.As one of the methods of social work professional assistance,group work is widely used in various groups.Growth groups are a type of group work designed to help team members recognize and explore themselves so that they can maximize their potential to solve problems and promote their own healthy development.Among them,in the field of adolescents,when young people who are in the middle school stage solve problems and tap their potentials,social workers use more methods of growing groups.However,as the social work of adolescents in our country is still in the initial stage of development,there is still little experience in the work of the youth growth group.It is inevitable that social work will encounter some problems or even difficulties in the process of carrying out practical work.This article takes the “five” youth growth group project of Guangzhou H organization as an example,from the perspective of action research method,reviews the practical process of the entire adolescent growth group,and then collects relevant research by means of participatory observation,literature and interviews.Data,analysis and summary of the dilemmas encountered by social workers at different stages of the youth growth group.Among them,during the preparation stage of the group,social workers will encounter difficulties in recruiting team members and group goals that are not clearly defined.At the beginning of the group,the main problems encountered are the lack of initiative of group members to participate in group activities,and the lack of trust between team members.Atmosphere,the team members do not know enough about the group’s goals,etc.;in the middle stage of the group,there will be conflicts between the team members,which will directly lead to the failure of the group’s norms,and may also encounter the group team members’ absent group activities;the group’s later stage,group Sharing difficulties among members,the content of the group is too gamified,and the social development of the group activities is too long due to the lack of sufficient group control ability.At the end of the group,when the team members and social workers are separated,the team members are separated.Emotions and negative emotions can make social workers face difficulties that are difficult to close.The author summarizes and reflects on the experience in the service process,and proposes corresponding countermeasures for the above problems or dilemmas encountered in different stages of the youth growth group.First,for the dilemmas encountered during the preparation phase of the group,social workers need to broaden the channels for recruiting team members and set group goals from the perspective of the client.Secondly,at the beginning of the group,social workers should make good use of the opening and questioning skills,and strengthen the expectations of the team members on the group;third,in the midstage of the group,social workers can set up a group role model,while timely coordination and processing groups The conflict of members;Fourth,in the later stages of the group,social workers not only need to be a good guide,but also improve their ability to control group activities.Finally,being a good advocate and giving team members support can help social workers effectively cope with the dilemmas facing the end of the group. |
