Since the development of distance education,due to the lack of supervision,it has been questioned from the beginning to the present.On February 23,2019,the State Council issued "China’s Education Modernization 2035".Based on the current situation and looking into the future,it has put forward the guiding ideology of modern education and raised the level of Education Legalization as one of its 10 major tasks,which calls for the construction of a more perfect legal system of education.Including:school-running related requirements of the legal system,the legal system of education supervision,education and teaching supervision system,etc.,constantly improve the executive power of the government,the level of government services,improve the ability of the government to collect and process information,improve the efficiency and effectiveness of supervision and supervision,so as to make it play a substantive role.This paper puts forward better ideas and solutions to the current situation,problems and Countermeasures of the supervision of online education in China’s colleges and universities,in order to promote the sound and rapid development of online education in China’s colleges and universities.At present,there are some problems in Distance Education in Chinese universities,such as the decline of education quality,unreasonable fees,lack of qualifications and teachers’failure to meet the standards.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the current situation of supervision of distance education in Chinese universities,and holds that the current contents of supervision can be divided into;the supervision of examination and approval of school-running qualifications,the supervision of enrollment,the supervision of education evaluation,and the supervision of certificate award,etc.,but these contents are in the implementation.Due to the implementation of the annual inspection system,there are some procedural problems and work attitude and style problems in the implementation process,which seriously affect the effectiveness of supervision.Further investigation found that the current supervision is not independent,open and participatory,relatively conservative,closed and superficial.This paper classifies the supervision of distance education in Chinese universities into three aspects:the direct supervision of government departments,the supervision of government departments on universities,and the advocacy of government departments on society.Through the supervision and analysis of foreign higher distance education,we can draw lessons from foreign experience and put forward suggestions for improvement of China’s higher distance education supervision.Mainly include:promulgating laws and regulations,improving the legal system,improving the system,strengthening the implementation,strengthening the supervision of colleges and universities,improving the management system,improving the supervision of education and teaching,and finally the government advocates social supervision of higher distance education.We call on the whole society to participate actively.
