Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of land-based and aquatic-based plyometric training on the lower limb power of swimming majors, and to find out the differences in the impact on athletes’ micro-injury.Methods: The documentary method was used to conduct literature research on plyometric training and swimming lower limb power. The experimental method was used to conduct experimental interventions on 14 male subjects of the 2017 swimming special in Beijing Sport University.During the 8-week training time, all subjects were randomly divided into 7 people in the aquatic group and 7 people in the land group. They were trained in land-based plyometric and aquatic-based plyometric separately, the vertical jump height, the transversal jump length, the number of freestyle strokes in 10 s and the time of 25 m freestyle strokes were compared before and after the training, and compare the changes of creatine kinase(CK)before the second training week, immediately after training, and 24 hours after training in the fourth training week and the eighth training week,at the same time, the changes in the muscle soreness sensation level(VAS)of the subjects after the second training in the second week, the fourth week, the sixth week, and the eighth week were counted;finally, each index data is analyzed by mathematical statistics method. Results: Both the transversal jump length and vertical jump heights of the aquatic group and the land group were significantly improved after training(P <0.05),but there was no significant difference between the groups(P> 0.05).The number of freestyle strokes in 10 s and the time of 25 m freestyle strokes were also better than before the experiment(P <0.05),and there were no significant differences between the groups(P> 0.05).In terms of muscle damage, the aquatic group was either immediately or 24 hours after training,CK and VAS were significantly lower than those in the hard ground group(P <0.05).Conclusions: 1.Both land-based and aquatic-based plyometric training can significantly improve the explosive power of the lower limbs in the land for swimming majors.2.Both land-based and aquatic-based plyometric training can significantly improve the explosive power of the lower limbs in the water for swimming majors.3.The muscle soreness and muscle micro-injury caused by the plyometric training in aquatic are smaller than the land-based plyometric training.
