Study On The Influence Of Living Environment On Social Status Identification Of Agricultural Transfer Population

At present,China’s urbanization process is speeding up and the number of agricultural transfer population is growing rapidly.However,the social status identification of the agricultural transfer population is not very high,which will reduce their sense of identity and belonging to the city and make it more difficult for them to integrate into the city.At the same time,an important problem that the agricultural transfer population faces after entering the city is the housing problem.In recent years,the living cost keeps increasing,and the differences in social factors and their own economic conditions cause the differences in the living environment of the agricultural transfer population.Based on this background,on the basis of related literature and theory,using the China Family Panel Studies(CFPS2016)to explore the different living environment of agricultural transfer population to the influence of social status identification,to explore the influence factors of concrete and further analyzes the impact mechanism,to improve the agricultural transfer population orderly social status identification so as to promote agricultural transfer population urbanization and new urbanization process has important significance.Firstly,this paper uses multiple linear regression model to analyze the influence of living environment on the social status identification of agricultural transfer population.It is found that the living environment has a significant positive effect on the social status identification of the agricultural transfer population.The study shows that the variables of "community security situation","community public facilities situation","community neighborhood relationship","neighbor help" and "living accommodation degree" has significant positive effects on the social status identification of the agricultural transfer population.Among them,by comparing the standardized regression coefficient,it is found that the variable of "neighbor’s help" has the greatest influence on social status identification.The variable "neighborhood environment" did not pass the significance test.It is also found that there is inter-generational heterogeneity between living environment and social status identification of the agricultural transfer population.For the elderly agricultural transfer population,the " community public facilities ","community neighborhood relationship","neighbors help" of the elderly agricultural transfer population has a significant impact on social status identification,However,"neighborhood environment","neighborhood security situation" and "residential crowding degree" have no significant effects on the elderly agricultural transfer population.The living environment factors that affect the social status of the new generation of agricultural transfer population include "the situation of public facilities in the community","the security situation around the community","neighbors’ help" and "the degree of living crowding"."Neighborhood environment" and "neighborhood relationship" have no significant impact on the new generation of agricultural transfer population.Then,the Baron and Kenny method and the KHB method were used to explore the mechanism of the effect of living environment on the social status of the agricultural transfer population.The study found that there was an indirect effect of living environment on the social status identification of the agricultural transfer population.Social psychological variables such as "community sense of belonging","life satisfaction","confidence in one’s future life" and "evaluation of government work" are mediating variables of the influence of living environment on the social status identification of the agricultural transfer population.Living environment will affect variables such as "life satisfaction","evaluation of government work","sense of community belonging" and "confidence in future life",and then lead to the differentiation of social status identification.Finally,this paper proposes suggestions from the three aspects of government,community and individual to improve the living environment of the agricultural transfer population,so as to improve the social identification of the agricultural transfer population and promote the new urbanization process in an orderly manner.
