| This paper takes paid tutoring services provided by public elementary school teachers as the subject,and the instruments were literature,questionnaire survey and individual interview.T county,Jiangxi province,was selected as the research area to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth investigation on the current situation of paid tutoring services provided by public elementary school teachers.From the four aspects of parents,teachers,students and relevant functional departments,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems,and finally puts forward the solutions to the problems.Firstly,investigations and analyzes the current situation of in-service teachers in public primary schools participating in tutoring for payment.T county,Jiangxi province,was selected as the research area,the demographic geography,economic and social development and education of T county were summarized,and the implementation of questionnaire survey and interview survey was introduced.It is found that both parents and in-service teachers of public primary schools have diversities of attitudes towards paid tutoring,a large proportion of teachers in public primary schools and parents do not support the policy of "banning tutoring".As for the implementation of the policy,both parents and teachers believe that the phenomenon of tutoring has not been alleviated,and many parents are still keen to ask in-service teachers in public primary schools for private tutoring,so the phenomenon of tutoring provided by in-service teachers in public primary schools still exists.Secondly,analyzing the reasons for in-service teachers in public primary schools to participate in tutoring for payment.Using statistical software SPSS to conduct statistical analysis of influencing factors and correlation analysis of questionnaire survey data.It shows that there are some problems in management,such as insufficient ideological understanding,imperfect management system and imperfect supervision mechanism.Teachers are mainly influenced by the economic pressure,the temptation of high profits and the psychology of convergence and make up lessons with compensation.Parents are mainly out of the thought of ambition,improving children’s performance and the worship of psychological reasons;Students are mainly affected by the requirements of parents or teachers,conformity and their own interests.Thirdly,telling the solutions to strictly prohibit teachers in public primary schools from paid tutoring.Focusing on the root of the problem,this paper proposes three feasible countermeasures:strengthening the construction of supervision system and law in the aspect of external supervision,strengthening the construction of teachers’ morality,and improving teachers’ treatment and social status. |
