Study On The Factors Influencing The Employment Of Graduates From Higher Vocational Colleges In Guizhou Province

In 2019,higher vocational colleges nationwide expanded their enrollment to 1million.The CPC Central Committee and the State Council have attac hed great importance to the expansion of higher vocational colleges’ enrollment.On April30,2019,the China State Council Executive Meeting unanimously adopted the Implementation Plan for the expansion of higher vocational colleges’ enrollment,by which time the number of higher vocational college graduates will have doubled,the employment situation will become more and more severe,and the employment quality can not be guaranteed.This article,guided by alleviating the employment pressure of Guizhou Higher Vocational College Students and improving the employment quality,explores which factors will have an impact on the employment of Guizhou Higher Vocational College graduates,it will have a positive impact on the education and employment guidance of stud ents in Guizhou Higher Vocational Colleges,and will also bring enlightenment to the administrators and teachers of higher vocational colleges in other underdeveloped areas.The purpose of this study is to make clear which factors will affect the employmen t of Guizhou Higher Vocational Graduates,and to establish a more perfect influencing factor model,and to analyze the influencing factors of the employment of Guizhou Higher Vocational graduates with this model.The author takes a number of evaluation ind icators that will have an impact on the employment of higher vocational graduates in Guizhou as research objects,and uses the method of combining theoretical research with empirical research,a large number of journal articles and academic works related to the employment influencing factors of higher vocational college graduates have been widely obtained,and many influencing factors can be divided into three types,namely individual,student and social factors,based on this premise,a reasonable evaluation model is established.Based on this model,a questionnaire was designed,and then three representative public higher vocational colleges in Guizhou were selected,namely,Light Industry Vocational and Technical College,Electronic Information Vocational and technical college,and traffic vocational and technical college,after obtaining the survey data from these three schools,the structural equation model is used to analyze these data in order to find out what factors will have an important impact on t he employment of higher vocational graduates.Through the research,it is concluded that the personal factors have the greatest influence on the graduates in the process of employment,such as their comprehensive quality,Employment View and family backgro und,followed by school factors and social factors.Therefore,the vocational college students in Guizhou should take immediate action to improve their personal comprehensive quality,set up a correct employment concept and change their parents’ traditional employment concept.Guizhou Higher Vocational Colleges should make use of multi-ways to improve school-running,teaching quality,establish brand awareness,and strengthen the guidance of employment and entrepreneurship for students.The society should strengthen the propaganda of employment and entrepreneurship policy,grasp the correct direction of employment report in media,and try every means to promote the society’s recognition of higher vocational education.With the joint efforts of individuals,schools and the society,the Employment Situation in the future will certainly be better.
