An Study On The Spatial Distribution And Its Influential Factors Of Chinese Sports Towns

The cultivation of characteristic towns aims at promoting new urbanization and new rural construction,which is of great significance in eliminating social and economic imbalances among regions.Sports characteristic towns respond to the call of supply-side reform,carry out the purpose of national fitness,and act as the carrier of new urbanization,which is the inevitable product of social development.At present,the number of national sports characteristic towns in China has accounted for one fifth of the total number of national sports characteristic towns.Throughout the country,there are differences in the spatial distribution of sports characteristic towns,and regional imbalances still exist.By using the methods of documentation,GIS spatial analysis,statistical analysis and questionnaire survey,this paper attempts to explore the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of sports characteristic towns in China.(1)Analyzing the connotation of the concept of sports characteristic towns through the method of documentation,and searching the relevant literature;(2)Visualizing 96 sports characteristic towns in China by the method of GIS spatial analysis,using the nearest neighbor point index,geographical concentration index,Gini coefficient method and nuclear density estimation method to discuss the body.The spatial distribution characteristics of small towns with educational characteristics;(3)The factors influencing the spatial distribution of small towns with sports characteristics are analyzed by the method of documentation;(4)Questionnaires are issued and collected to relevant practitioners through the method of questionnaire survey;(5)The reliability and validity of the returned questionnaires are tested by the method of statistical analysis,and the research points are scored.The correlation between each influencing factor and sports characteristic towns was analyzed.Finally,it is concluded that the spatial distribution of sports characteristic towns in China is cohesive,which is influenced by six factors: economy,transportation,sports culture,ecological environment,tourism resources and pension undertakings.The influencing factors are GDP,disposable income per capita,urbanization rate,railway operating mileage density,highway mileage density and so on.The number of Olympic champions,the density of stadiums and gymnasiums,the density of parks,the green coverage of built-up areas,scenic spots above AAA level and the proportion of pension insurance participants.
