| Social avoidance is a subtype of social withdrawal.The emergence of social avoidance behavior brings great trouble to people’s life and learning.With the development of society,people pay more and more attention to interpersonal communication,but for social avoidance individuals,they are prone to avoid behavior and anxiety in the process of interpersonal communication,so they can not better integrate into the collective and society,which is not conducive to their physical and mental health development.Childhood is a critical period for children to determine their personality characteristics and cultivate their social interaction ability.In this period,children are not mature in all aspects,and are vulnerable to the influence of external factors,which make them have greater emotional fluctuations,cognitive bias,and even induce them to appear social avoidance behavior.Therefore,social work intervention for social avoidance children is of great significance.In this paper,participatory observation,unstructured interview and scale measurement were used to collect and sort out the data.Under the guidance of ecosystem theory and emotional a-b-c theory,rational emotional therapy model was used to intervene a child with prominent social avoidance behavior.The specific intervention process is divided into four stages: rational therapy stage,emotional therapy stage,behavioral therapy stage and end stage.In the early stage,the author has understood the surrounding ecological environment of the case owner,collected relevant information of the case owner on this basis,and established a professional relationship of mutual trust with the case owner.Therefore,in the rational treatment stage,the author led the case owner to learn the emotional a-b-c theory,guided the case owner to find out the irrational belief existing in himself,and learned to argue with the irrational belief existing in himself In the stage of emotional therapy,the author designed corresponding activities according to the personality characteristics of the subject,aiming to help the subject learn to accept himself,see the advantages of his own existence,and learn to be the master of his own emotions;in the stage of behavioral therapy,the author connected the subject with his family and peer groups,on the one hand,to strengthen the relationship between the subject and his family On the other hand,it helps the case owner better integrate into the community activities;at the end stage,it reviews the whole case service process to further enhance the social interaction ability and self-confidence of the case owner and reduce the occurrence of social avoidance behavior.Finally,from the evaluation results,the expected goal of intervention is basically achieved,and the social avoidance behavior of the case owner has been greatly improved.Finally,through the reflection and summary of the intervention process of the whole case,the social workers themselves,practical process and other aspects of a profound reflection,and put forward corresponding suggestions for improvement.This paper is committed to the use of rational emotional therapy model to intervene social avoidance children in individual cases,and through the study confirmed the possibility of case work applied to this subject,which will also provide reference and reference for the research and practice in this field at the theoretical and practical level. |
