A Study On Govemance Of The Marathon In Yunnan Province

Since the cancellation of the national marathon examination and approval system in 2014,the number and scale of marathon events have been booming in Yunnan province and even the whole country.The nature of marathon events has changed from the single government management in the past to the tendering and operation of commercial event companies by purchasing public services.However,the boom is not long.After a round of marathon running,there is a lack of standardized guidance and support from the government,and many problems emerge day by day,which become obstacles to the good development of marathon.With China’s economic and social development,the report to the 19 th National Congress of the COMMUNIST Party of China(CPC)stated that we need to strengthen and innovate social governance,adhere to key areas,improve institutions,ensure and improve people’s livelihood,and constantly meet the people’s growing needs for a better life.Based on this,this study will be on the basis of the theory of governance,governance of marathon in yunnan province present situation,problems and development strategy as the research object,to cancel the system of examination and approval after the marathon visit investigation,through in-depth interview method,such as,illegal methods,indepth knowledge in the context of the current social governance,current marathon held in the province and the facing problems and difficulties,the government vigorously promote social and public governance,explore belongs to the marathon in the province various participation management countermeasures.This study is divided into four parts.In the first part,the theoretical part of the event is sorted out and the three parties involved in the event governance are defined.The second part explores the governance requirements of marathon;In the third part,the responsibilities and rights of the three governing bodies are clearly divided.The fourth part analyzes the functions of the three governance bodies in each link of the race,combines with the predicament of the current race governance,and puts forward the countermeasures to better realize the multi-governance of the marathon within the province while satisfying the interests of the multi-governance bodies.This study thinks that marathon in the province’s governance,the government-led is stronger,the diversity of form a complete event management pattern,some weak executive standardization,technical,the standardized run competitions operation process is not strong permeability,and at the same time,the competition between operating departments lack of coordination in the practical work,but before the preparations for the established management goal and the actual game operating large difference.In order to improve the governance efficiency of marathon in Yunnan Province,the responsibilities,rights and obligations of the governance subjects of the three parties(government departments,social organizations,and event operation companies)should be clearly divided,so as to cater to the interests of all parties and form a community of interests in the governance of marathon.In addition,while improving the permeability of the norms and standards for national marathon running,we should strengthen the acceptance comparison between governance objectives and practices,and establish a relatively perfect governance system for objective evaluation.
