Research On Governance Of China's City Marathon Events

The issue of the document <The guidance of accelerating the development of sports industry,promoting the sports consuming> promulgated by the state council in October,2014,and the cancellation of the mass and commercial sports examination and approval system in December,2014,which has greatly aroused the domestic competition of the sports events represented by the city marathon.However,there are still lots of problems can't be ignored during the vigorous development of the China's city marathon events.It has become an urgent problem to solve that how can the stakeholders of city marathon events achieve an effective governance of China's city marathon events.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the development situation and governance problems of China's city marathon events based on theory of governance,and discuss how can the relevant subjects involved in city marathon events achieve a healthy interaction and development of the events while meeting their respective interests through coordination and cooperation.This paper includes three sectors.The first one introduces the background and significance of research,the content,methods,framework,innovation and difficulties of research.The second one introduces the literature review of domestic and foreign research.The third one is about the analysis of development situation and existing governance problems of China's city marathon events,and the governance strategy of China's city marathon events.This paper reveals the stakeholders of city marathon events(including the host city,events operation institutions,sponsors,participants and audience etc.)neither become the multiple governance subject,nor form an interactive relationship of coordination and cooperation.Accordingly,the governance of China's city marathon events is inefficient.To achieve an effective governance of China's city marathon events,this paper suggests that firstly the stakeholders of city marathon events should become the multiple subject participating in the collaborative governance.Secondly,a positive interaction between one another should be formed.Lastly,the stakeholders should strengthen the organic integration of governance concepts and governance practice.
