The Influence Of Population Migration On Economic Development In Jilin Province

In recent years,the economic growth of Jilin area has slowed down,and the population outflow and economic problems in Jilin area have caused extensive discussions among domestic experts and scholars.In 2010,my country conducted the sixth population census.According to survey data,21.25% of Jilin Province’s population has migrated,which is as high as 5.835 million.Compared with the data in 2000,the proportion has increased by 60.14%,and the number of people has increased by 2.278 million.Among the migrants,4.006 million left their registered permanent residence,1.373 million moved to other provinces,and 456,000 moved from other provinces,accounting for 68.65%,23.53%,and 7.82% of the migrant population respectively.A series of data show that Jilin Province is mainly based on population migration,and the population migration is also increasing.In the past ten years,the population outflow in Jilin Province has intensified,which also means the outflow of a large number of middle-aged labor and high human capital population,which has seriously hindered the development of Jilin Province.Since the21 st century,the state has issued a series of policies to revitalize the economy of Jilin Province,promoting the transformation and upgrading of local industries,and the economy of Jilin Province has experienced a short-term recovery.However,since 2012,the economic development of Jilin Province has encountered bottlenecks.In 2014,the GDP growth rate ranked last in the country.There are many reasons for the weakness of the Northeast economy,but the massive outflow of population is indeed a point that cannot be ignored.There are many characteristics of population migration in Jilin Province,the most obvious of which is that the actual place of residence of the migrant population is not in the same location as the place of residence.This is also a common phenomenon of the migrant population across the country.Household population.In recent years,hukou migration has not required strict conditions and procedures as in the early days.In the past,hukou migration was only possible in a few cases and the conditions were harsh.In recent years,with the continuous advancement of the hukou system reform,the hukou migration policies in many areas are relatively loose,which greatly reduces the migration.It is difficult for more migrants to choose to settle down and enjoy local welfare benefits,so that the migrants can better integrate into the local life,in order to better promote the pace of urbanization.Although hukou migration is more convenient,people did not pay for it.The proportion of migrants who chose hukou migration did not meet expectations.More than half of the migrants did not choose hukou migration.The reasons why migrants did not choose hukou migration are also diverse.When making policies,we should fully grasp the factors affecting population migration,which is of great significance.Population migration has been a common phenomenon since ancient times.Most of them flow from areas with poor economic development to developed areas.Developed areas have a large number of jobs for the migrant population.With the development of time,more and more talents are influx in economically developed areas,which have become the main destinations for talent flow..The phenomenon of population migration and flow in Jilin Province has become more and more obvious.The migration and flow of population has led to the loss of many human capital,which has caused the gap between Jilin Province and other provinces.Population migration has a very important decisive role in economic development.The outflow of human capital in Jilin Province is closely related to the economic development of Jilin Province.If this problem is not taken seriously,the future economic development of Jilin Province will face huge challenges.Analyze the current situation and reasons of population migration and outflow in Jilin Province,and carry out multiple logistic regression on the net outflow population,analyze their willingness to migrate household registration to study the characteristics and reasons of migration.Empirical analysis of population migration and economic development of Jilin Province,using ordinary least square method and instrumental variable method,comparative analysis of the impact of population outflow in Jilin Province on economic development.In the last part,the research conclusions and policy recommendations of this article are given in order to contribute to alleviating the population outflow of Jilin Province.
