With the continuous expansion of university enrollment,the scale of enrollment continues to expand,and the society’s demand for compound talents has spawned a large number of interdisciplinary postgraduates.In the meantime,whether the cultivation of talent quality can be guaranteed has aroused widespread concern among scholars.More and more university researchers are setting their sights on the study of student engagement,and student engagement has gradually become one of the standards for measuring the quality of education.This article selects the 2017-2019 school of education science graduate students of Y University as the research object,referring to the National Postgraduate Learning Experience Questionnaire(NS GE)and the Chinese University Student Learning Investment Questionnaire(NSSE-China),and compile a questionnaire on the study engagement of interdisciplinary postgraduates in education,and conduct project analysis and reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire.Afterwards,descriptive statistical analysis and difference analysis were carried out on the interdisciplinary graduate students of the School of Educational Science of Y University.Finally,the correlation analysis and regression analysis of study engagement and influencing factors are carried out.The research conclusions are as follows:First,the overall study engagement of interdisciplinary postgraduates in pedagogy is at the middle level,and the cognitive investment level of male classmates is significantly lower than female classmates;there is a significant difference in the dimensions of behavioral involvement among the interdisciplinary master students of pedagogy in different grades,the level of behavioral involvement in the second year of postgraduates is significantly lower than that of the third year of postgraduates;the emotional investment level of postgraduates with a master’s degree in education that is consistent with their undergraduate and master majors is significantly higher than that of interdisciplinary postgraduates in education.Second,learning motivation,learning attitude,professional identity,teacher-student interaction,environmental support and student engagement are all positively correlated and have significant explanatory power.Third,learning tasks,professional interests and peer groups also have a certain influence on student engagement.Fourth,analyze the reasons that affect the student engagement of interdisciplinary postgraduates in pedagogy:first,they blindly choose to cross the examination,and their emotional investment is low;second,it is difficult to adapt to the subject culture and lack of learning goals;third,low frequency of tutor guidance,guidance strength and pertinence is not strong.Fifth,the countermeasures and suggestions for increasing the student engagement of interdisciplinary postgraduates in pedagogy:one is to clarify goals and improve the sense of self-efficacy;the other is to straighten out the state of mind and actively integrate into the new disciplines;the third is to strengthen the mentor’s responsibilities and build a benign teacher-student interaction relationship;the fourth is to improve campus software and hardware facilities and create a good academic research atmosphere.
