Research On The Impact Of Innovative Human Capital To China’s Regional Economic Growth

With the progress of technology and the perfection of national innovation system,China’s economic growth model has gradually changed from factor-driven to innovation-driven.Innovation has become the key to transformation of economic growth model and sustainable economic development.As the source of innovation,the contribution of innovative human capital to technological progress and economic growth is self-evident.Based on the perspective of the source of innovation in economic growth,this paper studies the impact of innovative human capital on China’s regional economic growth,in order to provide new ideas for promoting China’s economic development.After briefly combing the relevant theories and literature,and commenting on the research progress of innovative human capital on regional economic growth,this article use the factor analysis method to measure innovative human capital stock from2005 to 2018,analysis the evolution trend of China’s innovative human capital stock and regional economic growth.Then,analyzes the function mechanism of innovative human capital to regional economic growth from the aspects of its elements,production function,knowledge effect and external effect of efficiency.Constructing fixed effects model and spatial econometric model to analysis the influence of innovative human capital on regional economic growth.Then put forward corresponding policy suggestions.The results show that the stock of innovative human capital increases with time,but the increase degree of different regions is different.Innovative human capital is mainly concentrated in the eastern region,followed by the central region,while the western region is relatively scarce.The panel fixed effect model regression results of the impact of innovative human capital on regional economic growth shows that,from eastern、central and provincial level,positive effect on regional economic growth is significant,while the effect of innovative human capital in the western region on regional economic growth is not obvious.The panel fixed effect model regression results of the impact of innovative human capital on regional economic growth shows,the spatial spillover effect of innovative human capital in different regions is different.Although the direct,indirect and total effects of innovative human capital on regional economic growth in the eastern and central regions are significantly positive.However,the direct effect,indirect effect and total effect of the stock of innovative human capital in the western region on regional economic growth are negative.Such result provides a basis for different regions to formulate different policies.
