With more and more fresh college graduates pouring into the job market,combined with the influence of uncertain factors,the current employment situation is becoming more and more severe,and the pressure of fresh college graduates is increasing.The collection of career information is one of the most important links in the process of job hunting.Career information is an important basis for fresh college graduates to make career decisions,which is an important breakthrough to help fresh college graduates choose a career successfully.In this paper,career information and its sources are the main body of the study,the strategies of seeking career information are the fundamental.First of all,this paper summarizes the relevant research literatures on Information Seeking and Career Information,and summarizes six deficiencies,clarifies the innovation and research methods of this study.On this basis,the basic concepts and theories such as Information Source,Information Seeking and Grounded Theory are analyzed as the theoretical foundation.Then,the paper makes a preliminary demand analysis on the career information and its sources,in order to help design the empirical research of this paper.Then,under the guidance of Grounded Theory,the process of this research is defined;At the same time,the details of interview questions are given,the basic situation of 50 interviewees is clearly explained,and the source of research data is clarified,so as to carry out the interview work.Then,three levels of coding analysis are carried out,namely,open coding,spindle coding and selection coding,forming several concepts and categories of career information,career information sources and their selection criteria,as well as the structural relationship among the main categories.Specifically,career information includes 25 specific categories of specific content,7 main categories of specific categories and their "pyramid" structure;Career information sources includes 18 specific categories,8 main categories of specific categories and their parallel relationship structure;Selection criteria has 8 specific categories and 3 main categories of specific categories.Next,the relationship models of career information,career information sources and their selection criteria are established respectively,and then the models are combined to put forward a complete model of career information seeking for undergraduate and postgraduate.Next,this paper puts forward many strategies of information seeking for the fresh undergraduate and postgraduate during their job hunting,including the first principle when seeking career information,that is,undergraduate and postgraduate should fully combine their career goals to seek career information;Two types of informationseeking methods;The complete information-seeking ideas;The priority strategies of using career information sources;The strategies when seeking some of nondynamically changing career information;When undergraduate and postgraduate have insufficient time and energy,this paper also puts forward a seeking strategies of the necessary part of career information.Finally,a case is used to illustrate how to specifically use the above-mentioned strategies of career information seeking.
